Orphanram
Weirdly cathartic to see the ridiculous posts calling for the managers head (albeit subtlety).Following last season it kind of feels like our very own freedom of speech moment, in that we fought for our future to even give daft folk a voice and a choice. biellaram
No urgency in trying to score at all. Our defence seem to think we win if we keep the ball. They pass it amongst themselves all night. Midfield love passing back to the defence. No one (in midfield) drives forward. Forwards isolated. Dobbin showed some great touches and can’t wait to see him in a two up top. Sibbo was ok but at least he wanted to score - shame he was left wing in 4-4-2. Needs to play up top/attacking midfield. Would love to see Knight replace Hourihane to make a midfield three with Sibbo and Bird. overall disappointed as we have some good players. Not too bad though. We just need to show more intent to actually score! DanS1992, RoyMac5, Donegal Ram and 1 other 2 1
Elwood P Dowd
I have carried out an in-depth analysis of all of our games and the hours of complicated algorithms have produced clear results, we are not scoring goal because our socks should be White. This outcome is not a surprise to me ? ????????????? Dordogne-Ram and Mucker1884

Edtheram
Also, someone tell me what max bird does qty influence games. Doesn’t look forward, too safe on the ball, defensively poor and never assits or scores!!!! Gee SCREAMER !!
Seen a variety of teams now at the top middle and bottom. They're all very poor and can't shoot for s***. For the love of god get on the front foot and get a goal early doors. For the love of god get Knight in midfield and stop playing Bird and Smith together. For the love of god realise Collins is a target man and stop getting him chasing down on his own from the front. For the love of good stop f****** about at the back all game when you have a bank of 10 that are just standing there. And please switch play quicker from one side to the other, you can afford to lose possession sometimes in an attempt to move it quicker. Heisenberg
Disappointed to only come away from a the game with a point after dominating with so much possession but no concerns from me at this stage. Lacking in the final 3rd of the pitch at the moment but had we played this game in October/November, I reckon we go on to win it comfortably 2 or 3-0. Onto Fleetwood. LERam
Win your home games Draw your away games Average 2 points a game Do that you'll be promoted Disappointing not to take 3 points but we are 4 games in, and we have 7 points. It's steady and I'm happy with that for now LazloW, FlyBritishMidland, Mihangel and 2 others 4
Bris Vegas
Could have lost that at the end. Shrewsbury were happy to let us have the ball and it showed why. We couldn’t move them out of position by just passing it around and we seemed far too conservative. Most goals in League One will come as a result of forcing mistakes. But we didn’t play in a way to do that. All possession in front of them. That will be easy work for teams in this league, especially on their home pitch. Good to see Dizzy get some minutes. Cashin another solid game. A clean sheet. There were some positives. kash_a_ram_a_ding_dong

He offers nothing Hard to judge Collins when he has nothing to feed on. The play is so predictable, and there is no support from midfield. All we do move the ball sideways, then forward on the wings, and then back again. Rinse and repeat. Would like to see us break some lines in a vertical way, and use collins to his strength with his hold up play to bring the midfield in on the action. All this tippy tappy at the back and on the flanks are leading to him being ineffective. RoyMac5, biellaram and Dordogne-Ram 1

Unfortunately, the forum provides too good an opportunity for people to blurt out knee jerk reactions without giving them any thought whatsoever. If he thinks an away draw is a w*nk result, then it’s going to a long old season for him, as I very much doubt we’re going to win every away game from this point on (and only a moron would expect us to). Blondest Goat
Knight played in midfield last season when we were equally toothless away from home. He scored two goals all season. Really don't see moving him back to midfield as the magical solution that some do. QuitYourJibbaJivin and The Scarlet Pimpernel
EulogyForEvolution
Having 80% of the ball is worth less than f*** all if most of it is between your keeper and your centre backs -even in the last f****** minute of injury time! Dropping Sibley for this game because Korey Smith is too good to sit on the bench is nonsense. Sibbo changed the game again when he came on and I have no doubt we are a better side with him on the pitch at the moment. The mentality needs to change quickly, because that was dire. Guest
Disappointing as we should be beating teams like Shrewsbury. However an away point, and things will continue to get better. I do worry about all of the negativity on here so early on in the season, even with a settled squad in pre season, our results so far would be acceptable, but with the rebuilding I think we are doing better than just that. Keep the faith…
TomTom92
Think this highlights that we’re still 2-3 players short. Could do with 3 real high quality loans to give us that edge. Out of all the big hitters in league 1 we’re the only team that seems to be having problems putting teams to the sword.
