It's an extended contract that the club should be putting in front of him and not waiting until his present deal runs out. Exactly, don’t get why people feel inclination to knock his odd failing, at this level his strength is his reading of the game. If he can show adaptability to play consistently well enough at centre half, it may prolong his career another season, rather than having to bomb up and down the pitch at full back or wing back. There’s not many more versatile players, we are likely to sign any better than Fozzy. Dordogne-Ram, Ramrob, Ramarena and 10 others 10

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army
I hope Fozzy, just like Curtis stay around this club for years more. Not many people like Fozzy and we’ve been lucky to have him around the club for so long. Adslegend, Zag zig, deano180 and 8 others 6

May depend on which division we are in next season. Amazing to think Fozzie has been around since the Nigel Clough era. Great club servant, despite injury problems. Dimmu
Correct me if I'm wrong, but ain't he the only player we have paid for? If so, it's only fair to expect him to be our best player! Carl Sagan

Strictly speaking though, they were out of contract signings this season. Dimmu

Would'nt be surprised with Jack Stretton also returning at the same time. Magicman

Carl Sagan
Haven't seen Warne's comments on Fozzy posted, so this seemed a decent place to put them: https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/derby-county-craig-forsyth-warne-7905692 Warne says he doesn't watch hours of video footage and for him it's about training. But an interview in which Fozzy was asked about the new manager (and confident he'll end up back in the team) impressed Warney. jono
Is he making the best contribution of his whole career now ? What a player. My MOTM today but that stands along side a great period of consistent good form all season. He’s looked a rock at the back. Using his football nous to outwit younger faster players. Strength and height help but he anticipates such a lot and his use of the ball under pressure has been excellent. Seems to know when to put a foot through it or be a little more deft and subtle Well played today Fozzy .. good on you Mr Ram inter politics, Indyram, Steve How Hard? and 5 others 6

Some fans can't abide being proved wrong and they must be frustrated having to bite their lip at the moment. Fozzy just sails through it though and gives his all every game. Long may it continue. jono, angieram and EranioIsGod

Gerry Daly
Forsyth has amazing pace and athleticism for his age which goes along with his experience and reading of the game. His fitness is such that he can easily play for another year after this, certainly at this level jono and Poynton ram
