Twitter isn't exactly the brains trust at the best of times. By all means tweet about Derby, updates etc, but getting in to conversations and/or bickering with fans online isn't going to do him any favours long term. He's clearly determined to engage in a fashion we've literally all demanded of other parties and for most that's a breath of fresh air. Let him just block the fookin melts and engage with the reasonable Twitter audience. It needn't be all or nothing and there are far more fair and balanced posters on Twitter, than raving, self-entitled loons like Paul bloody Ratcliffe esq. He could adopt the rick parry approach and get a trusted assistant to handle his account (with reference to him where needed). If he doesn’t do that I wish he’d find a channel for comms that is going to be less wearing and time consuming And Elon Musk ain’t going to make it any easier

And such support from Mr Ratcliffe - why are our so-called fans laying into him like this when he's the one man here to give our club a future. If you're on here, take a step back please, count to 10 and let things play out. You've waited 2 years FFS, just one more week hopefully then we move on. Because some people on twatter are complete idiots, it really is not the best space to communicate with fans. Hopefully, he’ll learn in time or his enthusiasm will wane after every defeat. We stuck together and got through it together. m We can now hopefully enjoy a much better 12 months and if we did keep most of the players, automatic promotion would feel like winning the Premier League to us. Also hope we go for the Papa John’s trophy as well. Doesn’t matter what it is or what level, build that winning culture and feel good factor!! Couldn’t give a crap what that lot do tonight and in the future now, if they go to the prem so be it, we have our own future to look forward to. He's been active on social media for some time and overall it's refreshing that he communicates honestly to us - it's something we've had a lack of since this debacle began. I think he's also a great believer in free speech, so allows it. What galls though is that a minority of our so-called fans then feel they need to show their appreciation of what he's doing for us by posting defamatory and derogatory remarks. I get it's been a horrible time but jeez, it's embarrassing to think of myself as being part of this same fanbase when you see things like this. If they are on this forum they really ought to be ashamed of themselves and go and support someone else. They're certainly not representative of what 99.9% of us stand for. And if they're not on this forum....well, they should still be ashamed of themselves.
