I’ve answered that more than once on here

the REASON q said that, and the reason they told MPs today that this has all happened because M threatened to sue EFl, is the same reason. Namely, that Q’s plan is in tatters and so they are looking to deflect blame.

Yes. And Qs plan was in tatters because the EFL's Insolvency rules weren't up to date.

Just ventured over to LTLF to see what the Forest fans are saying. It's not nice.

Derby County Football Club going bust will be a devastating blow to the city, to people's livelihoods and to people's mental health. The fact that the vast majority of them are laughing and saying it's what we deserve is sickening.

Utterly sickening.

With very few exceptions, they're like 13 year old boys who's balls have just dropped. Even the females. Probably the thickest fans forum on the Internet. Even Vital Forest think they're twits.

Unanimous vote from Derby City Council to support the club in all matters. Not quite sure what they’ll be doing. All a bit beyond me right now!

That’s it then. A City expeditionary force is being mustered. Corporal Derby has been blow dried and polished. There is a BREL train ready at the station. We’ve had a word with RR and the spitfires are being prepped for take off. A whole fleet of Toyota Prius taxis is fuelled up and ready. ( nuclear sub ready to sail up the Tees with our “negotiating” team ready to discuss terms. ) Ragnar Lothbrook and Ivar the boneless have left Mercia with a war band and are currently passing through Snottingham on the Trent, ready to loot and pillage the East Coast.

Well considering how much has happened since, maybe it has been helpful? It's clear the EFL were being entirely obstructive to the process before the admins went public with that statement.

I don’t think it’s been helpful  People are now looking for a face saving solution and if q rubs EFL’s faces in it, that solution is harder to find

If what Toby Perkins has said is true about MFC threatening to sue the EFL if they don’t help their spurious claim can be proved the authorities have a good case to push a criminal case for Blackmail. If provable it could ruin Gibson. I may have the wrong end of the stick but if not the sports minister should be all over this.

or perhaps simply drop a line to the fuzz, the claim by the admins must have substance/evidence otherwise they would be foolish making it.

If 10,000 of us looted and pillaged Middle Borough for 40 days and 40 nights we could cause £25 worth of damage......

The reason we are where we are, is clearly down to 2 chancers trying to shake us down for whatever they can get, under the Trojan horse of the moral high ground and that cheats should not  prosper.

Time to test that moral high ground.

Not sure if it's legal or possible, but could the local MP's try and get the sports minister and treasury together.  As things stand (I believe), we owe HMRC £28 million and are offering 25p in the pound, so £7m.

Could they put forward a case that they could use that money to pay off the two parasites, £5m to Boro say and £2m to Wycombe.

Make that public, they then have a choice, either take the money and take a massive hit on public perception for taking from the public purse, a real bad look, or they want save face publicly and decline the payout, as it isn't in the public interest, saving face but not profiting from our situation.

The caveat to HMRC from the politicians being that in the grand scheme of things, £7m would be a drop in the ocean to maintain DCFC, due to its importance to the local economy for the next 138 years.

All avenues should be explored if legal.

We are where we because of Mel Morris, no body else! And he can still sort this mess out by taking responsibility for the Boro and Wycombe claims.

They are not true football fans. If it was them facing liquidation i wouldnt be laughing, nobody wants to see a club gone, but thats the difference between football fan and a ------ .
