A friend of mine who lives in Dundee reckons Shankland (ST)  and Siegriest (GK) should be on the radar for championship clubs. Says Shankland's goal tally doesn't look great this year due utd struggling to make chances but reckons he's a better player than Dykes who has done pretty well for QPR. Both in the last year of contract

I've heard good things about Shankland too.

So sad we aren't in a position to make a move. Just the sort who will sign up for someone else and score a hatful.

Shankland will be £1.5 -£2m minimum. I guess that rules Derby out.

Siegriest is a good keeper but possibly £0.5m.

There's a decent crop of players coming out of Scotland at the moment but mostly youngsters, and the clubs will look for transfer fees due to the length of contracts they are on.

Some League One players we should look at

Jorge Grant - Lincoln City - RM/CM/LM

Robert Atkinson - Oxford United - CB

George Honeyman - Hull City - CM/CAM

Charlie Wyke - Sunderland - ST

Callum Elder - Hull City - LB

Joe Pigott - Free Agent - ST

Reece Burke - Free Agent - CB

Jerry Yates - Blackpool - ST

well as hull got promoted that means both of those are non starters. and left back is one position we are loaded.

If we don't get a new owner I can't see us signing anyone, possibly Rooney will have to come out of retirement and be a player manager again. We will probably finish bottom without any new additions we were only about 4 points off bottom last season.

Just play with ten men

So is two first team Left Backs "loaded"? and it doesn't matter how many players we have in a certain position, if none are good enough then we need to strengthen there.

I know we're not a big fish anymore but we can still sign players from promoted League One teams, some of there contracts are expiring so they'd be free agents.

There is zero chance of Rooney playing again (IMO).

When is Bielik due (temporarily) back from injury? If he can half as influential as he was in the few games he’s played this year, he will be far more valuable than any new player we could possibly afford.

Also, even if we don’t/can’t sign any permanent players I’m sure there will be a few loans incoming.

Try and get Lee Grant back from Man United going to be a free agent soon. A lot better keeper than Roos.

No thanks was in bad form when he left as i recall we couldn't believe our luck Stoke paid cash for him and hardly played for years. Still have nightmares about him punching the ball into his own net V Wolves and Leeds .

Ahh but after 2 years of Hamer/Roos/Marshall he may now look like Edinson, comparatively.

He may play more like Edison (Thomas) it's been that long since anyone's seen him on a football pitch!

A 38 year old keeper who's only made 6 appearances in 3 seasons having previously spend the vast majority of his career at Championship level probably isn't going to be much use to us.

I tell you we need the Rotherham keeper Johannsen.

Too good for League One and not too far to travel to us. Let Roos go and keeper Marshall as competition and to use his experience.

From what I saw he's a good shot stopper but terrible at dealing with crosses, no thanks.
