Pearl Ram
If the old Greek fella doesn’t heap pressure on Hughton with demands for promotion this season, I think he could be a decent appointment for them but he’ll need time to sort out the wheat from the chaff. Or was it Sol Campbell succeeding Curle. Whatever it was, it was at a club placed about 91st in the pyramid. Darren Moore succeed Alan Pardew at West Brom..... No way he's a white dude being able to move his hips like that! eezzeetiger, Comrade 86, Carnero and 2 others

matty1986
Good manager. Surprised he took a year (or more) out of the game, presumably turning down a few decent offers along the way, only to take that job. He simply won't be given the time. Yeah that disappointed me. It goes on obviously, but given we're in a two week break 48hrs clear time wouldn't have hurt. CornwallRam
Irritatingly good appointment for Forest. Amongst their 87 players, there is a good squad (and an average one and a poor one). I expect Hughton to get them sorted pretty quickly. Ellafella and Comrade 86 1
mrdave85
Hughton is a good appointment. I’m getting the feeling that lamouchi wasn’t involved in any of these transfers though, feel like he’s told who’s been signed/sold, hence the sacking after the window. I doubt it will be any different for Hughton. Big leap of faith from him too.
Millenniumram
Absolutely mental to sack a manager 4 games into the season after letting him sign basically 2 new starting 11’s. Classic Forest scattergun approach. That said, Hughton has always been a very astute manager, I’d expect him to be an excellent appointment at this level.
