Clarke has actually done alright the last few games and he does offer that ability to step forward and feed the ball through the lines like Keogh did.

Davies looks good when we're defending a cross but other than that he's very slow and is getting shown up a lot.

Evans looked great at CB earlier in pre-season so I'd happily see him slot in there.

My guess would be Shinnie. Been a captain at Aberdeen. Strikes me as a leader in his interviews. Certain leads by example on the pitch. 

Wouldn't put it past Chris Martin, too. Wore the armband for a while under Clement, right?
