Whenever the camera has panned over to the boro half in the opening minutes; it certainly looks like Martin and Marriott are in a front 2

While the excitement is understandable; the arrangement of our forwards is irrelevant if the ball never leaves our half ?

Marriott gets in behind after ayala misjudges a bounce; but he can't pull it over to Martin before the defender gets a foot in, Corner to Derby.

Boro counter after some play around their box; 2-on-1 against Clarke, but he blocks the pass and snuffs the attack.

An awful Malone pass ends a promising attack and leaves us vulnerable; but Davies defends well.

That would have been a great touch by Marriott if Holmes was 6'6"

One thing I will say about this formation; having someone always next to Martin to receive a flick-on will really play to Roos strength. Roos' distribution is excellent, he has a 100% record of finding Martin with long balls so far.

Holmes tries to take a man on; gets tackled. Lawrence throws his arms up in frustration. Irony.

Lawrence does very well to catch the ball before it rolls out. He turns McNair and gets pulled down. Booking for McNair.

FK thats essentially a corner. Decent FK; header down from it only finds a defender though.

As long as Bielik has an immediate option and can hit a pass first time; I'd argue he's our best player. It's when there aren't options that he starts faffing around and losing it. He's been excellent so far.

Derby are attacking fairly well but haven't created a true chance yet. A couple of shots from distance.
