We've been playing Marriott as a winger the last few times he's been on. It could still be 4-3-3.

If this is the formation though - praise the lord - should get the most out of the players we have in the squad. Fingers crossed the diamond is making a comeback.

After seeing Martin+ Marriott in the line up I am more hopeful of a win but they won't be able to do anything if the midfield plays poorly , big game for Lawrence and Holmes today as they will have to provide creativity whilst also coming back and defending .

Glad to see Evans back. If he's fit I would look to take Clarke out and slot him in at centre half.

Agree but I would personally swap Davies instead of Clarke.

Clarke has actually done alright the last few games and he does offer that ability to step forward and feed the ball through the lines like Keogh did.

Davies looks good when we're defending a cross but other than that he's very slow and is getting shown up a lot.

Evans looked great at CB earlier in pre-season so I'd happily see him slot in there.
