Thanks for that RamNut, what a video!

What struck me watching, a lot of those Spurs players were legends, yet we brushed them aside easily. That save by Green from Greaves was brilliant and at 4 up we were simply toying with them. I’d have loved to have seen those games, it’s great to have some of them on film.

Loweman really does credit to keep the focus on them, for they truly are OUR LEGENDS.

Not added to this thread for a long time but had the pleasure today of meeting up with one of the last legends on the list, Mr David Nish round at his house, took the old man along and had a great chat with “Nishy”about the great days of the 70s, no side to him at all, in fact he spoke more about his love of his allotment than football, he still follows the Rams and like the rest of us is sad to see what is happening, he was a great servant to the club joining straight after the first championship season, went on to play for England and was part of that legendary defence with McFarland and Todd, was our highest transfer fee as well at that time, classy defender who always had time on the ball, was also one of the British mafia who took over the NASL, it was great to see my old man reliving those special memories with him !

A nice collection of DCFC legends that I have got to sign of the players on our travels, some great names here, it has been a real privilege to sit down with them with my Dad and son and talk about their memories of Derby County and the Baseball Ground, never again will we see such talent playing for our football team.

Hector, Durban, McGovern, Powell, Todd, George, Gemmill, Carlin, Boulton, Daniel, Webster, Nish, Walker, O’Hare, Davies, Wignall, McFarland, Hinton.

also Clough, McKay, Hennessy,

Quality player oozed class and scored a perfectly legitimate goal in the FA Cup semi final v Manure. Pity no VAR then
