The only slight positive with all of this potential Quantuma incompetence (rather than any owner of Derby) is that I believe it makes it very difficult for the EFL to take further swift punitive action against Derby.
I say this because for then to take action such as attempting to chuck us out of the league would bring huge political repercussions for them and probably swiftly speed up the demise of that organisation and football governing bodies in general.
I think that the EFL will ‘huff and puff’ a bit but give us the chance to get a deal over the line.
Also, FWIW, I’m not buying any of this about CK sending funds etc that have been caught up somewhere with the ‘laundering police’ checking them. I mean, the blokes allegedly running a international logistics business- I can’t think of anyone less likely to have been put in this situation.
In my view, he’s got cold feet. Hence, why he’s gone quiet. If that wasn’t the case, I’m sure he’d have no issue with talking a bit more with the fans about what’s going on.

Long shot I know, but after Waggy had bought it, did you notice if he put lots of dollar bills into it?

I was with Mike Ashley.
This was when the phone call came in from Chris Kirchner saying that he would afterall rent the stadium from Mike who had purchased it last week.

Here’s something from todays Times, that I thought was worth sharing:-
‘If Southgate picks Phil Foden tomorrow he will hope the Manchester City player remains a lucky charm: he is the first player since Roy McFarland in 1971-73 to remain unbeaten in his first 15 England appearances while winning as many as 13 of those games.’
I can imagine the bemused looks on peoples faces as they Google ‘RoyMcFarland’ and find out Derby apparently had a player in the England team back then.

I thought that was old news.
The issue was that CK didn't want Mel to have anything to do with the club, the same as me.
Why didn’t CK want you to have anything to do with the club???♂️

Could rooney be buying pp from mel fingers crossed.
Just need to check- you’re not Colleen are you, and I’m the only person who can see this post?

It’s hard to see what changes going forward, then.
CK - won’t buy the stadium. Preferred Bidder status elapses. Ashley buys stadium, pays creditors less than CK, we start next season on minus 15 points and Rooney walks.
Council - could have agreed a deal in principle by now; haven’t. Is this realistically going to happen? Surely if it was, something would have happened by now.
At this moment it’s hard to see a positive outcome, as in reality we are in exactly the same situation we’ve been in since September.
