If Derby County was my girlfriend she’d promise a night of unbelievable sex (and would absolutely be capable of it) but also be a chronic migraine sufferer.
If Derby County was my girlfriend she’d lack the physicality required.

I can see that it is no coincidence that your name is an acronym for ALARM!
Ner-ner, ner-ner! Language pedant police here- surely that’s an anagram rather than an acronym?

Appropriately for us mods, this is the first post on page 1,000.
What page are the rest of you on?
I’m still round about page 3 dated sometime in 1984, reading about what people think Stuart Webb is going to do about the financial stituation we find ourselves in.
Hopefully, he has a plan to save us so we never have to go through an admin type scenario again.

Not even an update in the Daily Updates thread for 4 days. And consecutive defeats. And war in Europe with nukes being talked about. I have to say things aren't looking their best...
Likely to be some truth around the Ukraine ‘situation’ and how it affects the purchase of the club. Many high worth individuals will have taken a financial hit, with what’s going on. Does that affect their calculations, what they are prepared to pay or even do they want to buy a football club at this time of high uncertainty? Quite possibly.
Not in the know and hopefully there’ll be no issue.

Worth noting that there is no prepared statement from the EFL as yet
They’re just devising the next obstacle for us now that Gibson has gone rogue.

It's not about the money, it's about showing our appreciation for a player's loyalty.
All these years and Fozzy has never had his own song, never been the hero. He's just Mr Dependable.
I think it would be well deserved.
Agreed- how about this?
‘He’s got no song from the fans,
He’s got no song from the fans,
He’s got no song from the fans,
He’s got no song from the fans…
One Craig Forsyth, There’s only one…etc’
First part, to ‘The Whole World In His Hands’.

He attempts to come across as very reasoned and caring about Derby - but we're one of many, so I'm not feeling special! ?
But really he just comes across as feeling bitter about not being 'chosen'.
If he got bored of wasting money trying to buy us, god only knows how quickly he'd have got bored of wasting money trying to run us! ?
Who have we sold then?! Lol. Who were our two best 'roster assets' then?
This guy would make a good Red Top journo! ?
Our quarterback and short stop.

They are both “claims” not debts. We haven’t been tried or tested and therefore the EFL need to behave accordingly. They cannot be the judge, jury and executioner. It’s about time the EFL were taken to task by either professionals or an organisation with financial and legal qualifications.
Lets take this all the way to court and then when they’ve all finished pissing themselves at the ridiculous manner of this obvious vendetta and the attempts behind these spurious claims. We then sue the bar stewards right back for restrictive practices and falling foul of anti competition law.
The EFL should be disbanded end by of
This.
My thoughts exactly. Unlike their spurious claims, we will have legitimate grounds to sue…being put in the position of not being able to bring in players, having to transfer out our best young players, Shinnie and Jags; and more likely relegated.

Match referee tonight is Matthew Donahue. From Manchester. Hope he has his cards. Some dangerous tackles have been injuring players recently in the Championship.
He certainly had his cards.

I am sure if roony could offer new contracts he would tie down these 3 but roony proving that young rams can compete at this level.
Festy Plange.
Sounds like a social disease.

I’d like to see more banners, creating the Italian ‘Ultra’ environment (obs without the violence).
It’d be great having banners celebrating our achievements such as the Watney Cup, Texaco Cup and Anglo Italian Cup Final.
Here’s a video of Napoli fans arriving in Rome at the station:

The thing that amazes me is that we were founder members of the Football League…the same organisation that are making things so difficult for us.
Talk about biting off the historic hand that fed you.
