I was told he was spotted in a side street near Anfield on match day a couple of weeks ago charging a tenner to ‘look after fans parked cars’ whilst the match was on.

I think this article is strangely worded. It's the nature of a consultancy role that it is temporary. Seems a no-brainer that it is one of the first roles to go.
Could argue that Rooney has taken on board what he needs from Steve and his job is done.
I wonder when he will be back again.

I know it’s not in his make up, but if he could just give the fans a little gesture after a game that would cement the bond even further.
He’s already a legend, he could take us from L1 to the prem, money is of no interest to him so finishing a project is I feel higher up his list.
If he took us from L1 to the Prem I’d personally drive him to Manu if they came knocking.
He’d totally deserve it.

August 9th is what is being reported by Nicholson. So I think RD meant to say SIX WEEKS!
I hope so!

I believe @Footymum2017 suggested back in late April/early May that Rooney was connected with an interested buyer.
Its clear Rooney & Morris haven't been communicating properly for some time & some cryptic tweets from Nixon a few weeks back suggesting it had got very political & petty internally within the club. It would also tally with Rooney sticking around as from a pure management POV, this job is as a bad a gig in the entire League.
Just said on Radio Derby that Rooney had said he hadn’t spoken to Morris for SIX MONTHS!!

I trust the administrators won’t prioritise people’s livelihoods over the provision of this essential facility now autumn/winter is on its way.
Mel had a dream and keeping us warm at half time was front and centre.
It’s a good job the beer is warm else there’d be some stiff fingers come November time.

I’d attempt to drop ticket prices for various groups, to a price point that incentivise larger crowds and generate perhaps more money coming in.
Clearly, there would be sensitivities with some people who have purchased season tickets, but hopefully fans would understand.

I'm hoping to come up for the Derby v Swansea game in October. do you need to show proof of having been double jabbed to get into the stadium or not. Thanks (you will in Wales from Oct 11th)
Historically, apparently you don’t even have to show proof of funds if you want to buy the club.

I wonder what @David is wearing nowadays?

At current rate of point scoring we are on for 57.5 for the season. Overturning 12 points is manageable IF we can get some reinforcements in January- IF we get a buyer.

Maguire said last night that he believed all elements of the club are likely to be sold as a whole as this would make the club more attractive to purchasers. I guess from a MSD loan perspective, it would make sense for the administrator to do this, as MSD will get all monies owed repaid.
Speculation on my part though.

This seasons done. Wigan had to show title winning form and still went down when it happened to them.
We’ll have to sell Nathan Byrne too? Is that what you’re saying?

He seems able to pass to another one of our players - which is a big plus. I see a tendency to pass sideways, but that could be due to lack of movement ahead of him by forwards.
I think he will get stronger- just needs to not allow other teams to press his buttons like on Friday.

Derby go into administration and out of business.
Meanwhile, we all go and follow Alfreton Town, who with the additional support and income over the next few years speed up through the divisions to the Championship.
Spying an opportunity, a wealthy local lifelong supporter of Alfreton takes them over, and gambles lots of money that he’d made early on investing in an internet game on getting them into the Premier League.
The final throw of the dice after being close to getting promoted was to appoint the newly retired England legend Jude Bellingham as manager who took the Town to the Championship playoffs only to lose to Arsenal at Wembley
In a dire financial position Mel Austin the owner, seeks a buyer…

Probably got as much right to be in it as Arsenal.
