I feel sorry for the lads but we got stop giving pentlys away but the ref was awful the ref did not have a clue what happened asking players who should be sent off. Can derby Appel the red card.
but we had chances to have a bigger score line but the fan who ran on the pitch thanks a lot maybe cost us a place in the next round.
Agree we need to stop giving penalties away- especially such a sloppy one at 2-0 up today.
Not sure anything that happened at Torquay today was the refs fault. Certainly nowhere near the worst we have had this season.
I found the substitution of NML more odd- was he the right person to come off in that moment after we had gone down to 10 men? Was he just knackered?
Also Osula coming off - when he was on for a hat trick was strange. I think if PW wanted to strengthen midfield at that point there were others that could have come off other than him.

Win 2 "I cannot see how we can ever lose a game ever again, freedom of the city for everyone, we're premier league ready"
A very likely scenario I’d say, given the fact one can get the freedom of the city for getting relegated. Apparently.

A lot of the big European clubs with good atmospheres have a crowd announcer.
Would it work in PP and improve our atmosphere, or would we do the usual English thing of finding it cheesy and annoying? Would anyone on here have the jewels to do it?

As his back room staff (coaches) are coming with him - does that mean that LR may be lined up for the recruitment role ?
I think the majority of the recruits this summer fit the bill better than some previous windows - is this down to LR?
The Athletic report LR has gone.

Watched it on RamsTV. Regretted it.
Incredibly poor performance mainly due to awful passing, and the fact Lincoln wanted it more.
I’m not of the view we should be changing the manager, though what I do think though is that we have actually got League 1 players now, and delusions that we have players who ‘should be playing at a higher level’ could well be wrong. Thirteenth place behind many so called ‘smaller’ teams tells its own story.
This will likely be a season of consolidation and stabilisation.

Not to score in 1 away game you’ve dominated is unlucky. Not to score in 2 away games you’ve dominated is even more unlucky. Not to score in 3 away games you’ve dominated defies statistical probability & suggests there is a significant factor at play.

Did any Wigan players jump ship when their contracts were transferred ? I think Buchanan went out on a limb, this isn’t like the Rangers situation. Especially as he miraculously found a club just a day after Clowes took over.
Looks like you were right with Buchanan! Fair play to you.

unsure about the home shirt until it sinks in. Brilliant to see something different though, so a thumbs up from me.
Did you miss the ‘t’ after the first ‘s’ in ‘sinks’?
I’ve always been a fan of Umbro due to me associating their kits with the greatest period in our history. I suppose the problem is, what can they do with white shirts that will make a change large enough to get us fans to buy them?
Perhaps we’ll get the red numbers on the back of the shirts back next year.

That is really really shame him and big boys could have linked up well.
Don’t worry B4. If Colin so chooses, he can still link up with big boys, even though he’s left Derby.

Didn't he have some criminal charges when he was younger? Assume that doesn't affect him getting into the US? I know they can be strict but actually have no clue on the rules
In 2007/08 it’s alleged that all of our players faced criminal charges for masquerading as professional footballers. They’re apparently still allowed into the US. Make of that as you will.

Interesting debate.
FWIW I think our academy does a great job.
The issue seems to me that players invariably leave us often too early to then not really feature in the Premier League. This makes these players appear to be at worse unsuccessful or at best not as good as we thought they were.
Had these players stayed longer with us, gaining more competitive games rather than playing what is effectively reserve football I believe they’d be far better equipped to make the step up.
Premier League clubs go round hoovering up talent and often then sell them on if they don’t fancy them further down the line. I think it’s sad that Plange went to Palace after getting a lot of game time here, to probably now getting an occasional bench spot at best. Kaide Gordon looks a real talent- and I know our finances probably dictated he went to Liverpool, but would he have been better served staying here getting game time and learning from Rooney?
It’s all a bit sad. I hope the young lads that are still here and have come up through the academy realise that the grass isn’t always greener elsewhere. The challenge here is to ensure that we are still able to give them opportunities despite having signed more experienced players, should they warrant them.

We seem to have significantly increased the tattoo quota in the squad with our new signings.
I wonder if anyone (left) in our scouting team had done some work on establishing whether more evident ‘body art’ in League 1 leads to greater success or promotion?

Well it’s about time the EFL came down on our side. It was legal for us to cross cram in Admin. but not EFL approved. They might not have jurisdiction in Germany but if he tries to sign for a Championship Team then they should support us by witholding registration. I won’t hold my breath.
Just as a by the way I think Wigan were shafted when we bought Marshall and Byrne.
I agree that it would be good to think that the EFL would come down on our side with regards witholding registration.
Certainly seems that Byrne doesn’t hang round if his club is up against it!
