Very poor Sky RIP Franny. BBC know better: "Former Manchester City and England striker Francis Lee has died, aged 79. Lee scored 148 goals in 330 appearances during an eight-year spell at City, helping the club win multiple honours, including the old First Division title in 1968. Lee, who started his career at Bolton Wanderers, joined Derby County from City, helping the Rams win their second league title in 1975. Lee also earned 27 caps for England, scoring 10 goals." ram59
We were lucky to have him for the last 2 years of his wonderful career. I remember when he signed for us, he said that he didn't need the money as he was already rich through his business, he just wanted to play football in that great side in the 70's. Never mind looking 'at the smile on his face', he put a great big smile on my face and that of 1000's of other Rams fans, RIP Franny. IslandExile
Noooooo! That is really, really sad news. RIP Franny 💔 Cue videos of "just look at his face", the fight with Hunter and the dance at the Awards night when the Championship was announced. But he was much, much more than those. Loughborough Ram
"Look at his face, just look at his face" The first proper diver in English football but what a player. Dispite all of the brilliant things he did for the Rams, most of us will remember him best for disproving the myth that Norman Hunter was a hard man. jimtastic56, SKRam, LeedsCityRam and 2 others

Grumpy Git
Franny repaid his transfer fee that very wet Saturday afternoon in November 1975, when he mugged both the ref and Norman Hunter and 'won' us a penalty. Kathcairns
