  1. I hate all of his ridiculous time wasting. Decent goalie but he let's himself down on too many occasions to be a top one
  2. We haven't won this many away from home when we've played at this level previously, so it's important not to underplayed it as an achievement just because some people have an opinion about the manager or the style of play
  3. With our worst ever manager apparently. How the he'll did that happen
  4. I think that if Chris Wood stays fit Forest will stay up, if not they could be in trouble
  5. He didn't suit modern football in my opinion. I always thought that sticking him up front on his own and then asking him to effectively close the two centre halves down, by doing doggies across the pitch, was a complete waste of energy. In my opinion, if he'd been born 20 years earlier, where everybody played two up front, he'd have become a legend. He gave me some great memories in his short spell here so I don't wish him any ill will at all.
  6. So posters who have given us no chance of going up are now changing to "we'll be sh*t next season in the championship" I guess if you enjoy being a miserable tw*t, you won't let anything get in the way, not even a modest success.
  7. Surely Patterson is close to the boot at Burton. He talks a great game but he doesn't seem to have any clue how to get results. If I was Ben Robinson I'd be giving Warnock a call and bring him back for old times sake
  8. I wish you nothing but good times. You sound like the kind of people that will make the best of whatever comes your way and that will stand you in good stead. Whatever happens use t this experience to make you stronger as a couple rather than drive you apart. My heart goes out to you
  9. Credit to our Goalie? Maybe if he wasn't sent off incorrectly at your place the points gap between us would be even greater.
  10. He'll probably try and sell it back to them at a large profit once someone takes over, be that through a sale or administration. An odious chairman of a small time, tin pot club. He's a typical American capitalist who doesn't let emotion or morals get in the way of an opportunity.
  11. Ey up Amster, keeping well i hope. I was trying not to be too antagonistic to be honest. There are too many threads on here that degenerate into a Warne hating/loving mess, where neither side is willing to concede an inch. Sometimes it's nice to discuss the football, after all if you can't enjoy being second with 9 games to go then I think that footballs probably not for you.
  12. Let's hope he doesn't get injured in the first minute against Bolton if we save him! You can't plan to avoid injuries, in my opinion, or your best players would never play. Warne will do what he will do, and whichever way he goes he will be criticised by some of the fans if it doesn't work but in my opinion, sitting in second place, with a good chance of winning the league, with 9 games to go, you have to be all in for every game.
  13. I prefer "he is ONLY 35". Manage his training if you have to but games is what it's all about at this stage. He's started the last 2 or 3 games and as Spalding says, he'll be absolutely flying having scored a couple of goals.
  14. Dwight Gayle should be as fresh as a daisy. If he is your first choice number 9, he should play. With so few games left, every result matters, so you play your best team unless injury or suspension says otherwise
  15. I saw that forest are unhappy that tw*tenburg wasn't allowed in the refs room to discuss the decision afterwards. OF COURSE HE WASNT!! He isn't the manager so he has no right being there, just because Forest appoint him as a consultant.
  16. No. I think we should play him at left wing back. If we don't then why keep him, if we have better in every other position?
  17. I think he does some things well but he doesn't offer the team a consistent contribution in any other position than left wing back in my opinion. And I know we'll get the argument that he's never been given a run of games in any position, but it's a chicken and egg situation. He needs to grab the opportunities he has been given and make himself undroppable, and I'd argue that the only time he's done that is when he plays at left wing back.
  18. The goal was scored almost 2 minutes after the game was restarted, so this 'error' is barely worth a mention in relation to the defeat in my opinion.
  19. I think that he's the best left wing back at the club. I don't think that he's in the top two in any other position. If Paul Warne decides to go with 3 centre halves and the two best wing backs, in ward and Sibley, from now on, I think that our home performances and results will improve, but our away performances may suffer. I guess you pays your money, you takes your choice.
  20. Personally I'd sooner they carried on with Dom Dietrich on commentary purely for the fact that I think he is a significantly better commentator then Ed Dawes.
  21. Just to make a small defence of Paul Warne, for years we've had managers who, regardless of the opposition, refused to budge on their playing principals. The complaint for a long time has been, "we don't have a plan B"! Well these days he changes formations, personal, and tactics within the games, to suit what is happening at the time, yet he is still criticised for his lack of tactical awareness. Another criticism of him is his poor substitutions, but it seems to me that over the course of this season, his substitutions have won us quite a few points. I get that you either like the bloke or don't, and there will always be some valid points to use against him, but some of the criticism of him seems baseless if you look at the facts in my opinion.
  22. Did anybody think that this game was ever going to be anything other than ugly turgid affair? In my opinion today was about getting the three points while avoiding red cards or injuries, so to me it was job done. We stood up to a team that play the way that traditionally beats us, so to get a win with the little bonus of beating that cheating fat f***, Steve Evans is a very happy day. Come on you Rams
  23. You'll realise if he isn't there one day, because he's injured. I'm not his greatest fan but the work he's doing at the moment is so important to what we're achieving.
