not sure whether to be excited that we are actually signing a player with a good age profile & technical ability or depressed because we are signing Forest reserve players that get nowhere near their first team

Well forest did also think at one time that huddlestone and Hughes would never make it when they were youth players there......

Due to them spraying around the cash since being in the Premier League, we'll get a seemingly well-rated prospect for possibly peanuts.

Don't feel too bad about it. Would you care as much if it wasn't Forest?

Presummably we don't have to announce the players before Saturday and as long as the paperwork has been done, they can go into the squad and surprise Peterborough? Surely that's much better tactically than telling fans but also the opposition that these deals have been done? Use every advantage you have.

Let's face it Alram , after all the players they signed last year to fill their triple decker team bus it's no surprise he's been down the pecking order, at least he'll get chance to play here 🤣

Don’t get me wrong I am not having a go at the player I think he will be a good addition it’s just a bit depressing the situation we are in as a club

No definitely not! I want him, he will improve us

Reading’s results with and without Fornah last season were significantly different, so we can at least infer that he improves the players around him with his presence - win percentage was half without him and the wins came against a lot of the better teams. He also played an important role in draws against the likes of Burnley and Luton.

Accomplished footballer, with a little bit of athleticism. He doesn’t get his shirt dirty as often as I would like, but covers good ground and fills gaps when they appear.

Reality is they have individual players on more (or close to) our entire squad. The two clubs are miles apart thanks to Mel Morris and the big Greek’s… ‘’shipping’’… business.
