Gone
I’d give 2 upfront ago and play Hourihane further forward with Bird in front of the back 4. Wildsmith Knight Stearman Cashin Roberts Bird Mendez-Laing Barkhuizen Hourihane Collins Dobbin Subs: Anang, Rooney, Forsyth, Tommo, Smith, Sibley, McGoldrick

Sibley was put on the wing because we had already brought McGoldrick on to play in his best position. McGoldrick was played where he was Because that's his best position (behind a CF) Except Dobbin plays across the front - and we needed a threat through the middle. McGoldrick wasn't noticeable where he played but was where he played preseason. Sibley was wasted. Carl Sagan

Brammie Steve
Every game we play against the likes of Fleetwood is like their cup final. Great leveller and giant killers come to mind!
LeedsRam1999
Wildsmith Knight Stearman Cashin Fozzy Bird Smith NML Hourihane Dobbin Collins Fozzy in as then we have one fullback coming in to help the midfield. His crosses are wicked at times and that will suit Collins and NML on the back stick. Smith over Sibley as it allowed us to control the game. Bring on Sibley on 50/55 if we aren’t creating anything. I think it’s important to ride the first 20/25 mins away from home to quieten the home fans, Smith allowed us to do this as he always was there to sweep up the counter attacks. Dobbin in as he looked really positive and direct when he came on. Had some flashes of brilliance. Him being there and cutting inside will allowed Fozzy to get round him when the time comes. Whilst I think there is an element of truth in what you say and they may well up their game for visits of teams like Derby and Sheffield Wednesday it does also stink a bit of arrogance. We’re in the same league as teams like Fleetwood and until such team as we play them off the park and beat them, we should consider them as equals (IMO) but, on the other hand, believing they are teams we can beat. ariotofmyown, ThePrisoner, jimtastic56 and 4 others 1
RamsFan10
I’d go: Wildsmith Knight Stearman Cashin Roberts Bird Hourihane Mendez Sibley Barkhuizen Dobbin Sooner we get Dobbin starting the better imo. DerbyRevolution
Wildsmith Smith Stearman Cashin Forsyth Bird Knight Hourihanne Mendez Laing Collins Dobbin Theory Smith for Knight, get him into midfield Forsyth for Roberts, more attacking threat Don't need 2 holding mids, trust the defence McGoldrick and Sibley next in line Edited August 18, 2022 by DerbyRevolution

Would be tempted to start Mcgoldrick over Collins but I'm not sure if he is physically ready yet and also Collins may be badly effected confidence wise being benched now. I think Mcgoldrick offers something different though and what we have seen so far hasn't worked well in attack so changes are needed.

May Contain Nuts
Given Rosenior's comments there, I'd expect Knight to carry on at RB indefinitely. Probably time to stop calling for him to play further forward. Steve How Hard?

It's ridiculously arrogant. I live in Hampshire and noone down here would view playing Derby like a cup final. May Contain Nuts
20 minutes ago, Jimbo Ram said: Why? He is less effective there. Because Rosenior says "it's working for him" (Knight) and says Roberts "also absolutely suits that role down to the ground" which clearly points to him thinking it suits Knight, and strongly hints that he will continue to be played there. It's something we're just going to have to accept and get behind, even if we disagree with it - it's either that or continue pissing in the wind by asking for it to change, which seems pointless.
