Rambalin
If I am Liam then I am starting the same team has last night as this appears to be his favoured eleven currently. It is giving us control of away games and from his comments he believes the wins will come if we continue in the same vain.
Carl Sagan
In the eight halves of league football we've played this season, Louie Sibley has completed only one, at home to Barnsley. We scored two goals in that single half of a match, before Sibbo was hauled off almost immediately after half-time. In all the other seven halves that he hasn't had much if any game time in, we've scored one goal in total. It ain't rocket science, Liam. Without our most forward thinking, positive, dynamic midfielder, we simply do not create enough chances. Instead we play the ball ponderously in front of opposition defences, before eventually going back to our keeper, or we run into cul de sacs. Sadly, the best we can hope for is @Ghost of Clough's starting 11. If I were picking the team Knight and Sibley would both be at the heart of a more adventurous, energetic midfield. Rampant
@sage Would you omit Bird, Hourihane or Barkhuizen (putting Hourihane wider and more advanced)? Or change shape altogether?

If we were to play Dobbin up front, then I would suggest that McGoldrick, Sibley or Hourihane should play behind him in a 4231. Of the wingers, NML may drop to the bench as rights backs seem to have sussed him and aren't letting him down the outside anymore, forcing him inside into midfield which doesn't suit him. He may be handy coming on as a sub with the game stretched. I feel that Hourihane is too slow for LW. Everytime you make a tweak which strengthens, it creates another weakness. Also, i'm not sure that LR will want to take Knight away from RB until we actually have one, even though in the long term, that switch could work. Sorry for the fence sitting. Millenniumram
Wildsmith Knight Stearman Cashin Forsyth Sibley Bird Hourihane Barkhuizen McGoldrick Dobbin Don’t think Roberts is particularly suited to playing against the more “agricultural” teams in this league, especially away from home - he gets caught out by long balls too much. So think Forsyth has to start here for his experience against a no doubt thuggish Fleetwood side. The Shrewsbury game proved that Smith and Hourihane don’t work as a midfield pairing, so Sibley must start to give us some attacking impetus in the middle of the park. Thought Mendez-Laing was very poor the other night - he was given the ball so many times in the final third and produced absolutely nothing. Dobbin on the other hand finally gave the Shrewsbury defence something to worry about when he came on, with his energy, desire and good runs in behind. An excellent cameo that showed us what we are missing, and deserves a start. Collins has had a number of games now to make some sort of impact on the match, and he’s failed to do so - McGoldrick comes in now he’s fit. Sibley was put on the wing because we had already brought McGoldrick on to play in his best position. McGoldrick was played where he was Because that's his best position (behind a CF) Crewton
