No thanks we can find better !!

Have we turned from beggars to choosers again now?

Id like to think anyone mentioned so soon after the takeover has been lined up for a while and that Rosenior has done his homework on them (perhaps alongside Rooney) before signing them.

Maybe they’ve been in on trial this week and they’ve impressed too.

"Nathanial Mendez-Laing was sacked from Cardiff City after taking cocaine the night before a game, it has emerged.

The Football Association has confirmed that the 28-year old was handed a three-month ban after returning a positive drugs test on July 4, 2020.

Mendez-Laing admitted to taking cocaine on the evening of July 3, 2020, at around 10pm, in what the FA called "a context unrelated to sporting performance".

The very next day, he played 66 minutes for Cardiff as they eased to a Severnside derby win over Bristol City on July 4. The game kicked off at 3pm, meaning the winger was taking the field just 17 hours after taking the drug.

Cardiff subsequently sacked the player in September for what it described then as an "alleged breach of contract", a move which baffled fans at the time.

The forward was provisionally suspended in August 2020, and a back-dated three-month suspension was applied in January 2021, meaning he is now free to play for his new club Middlesbrough.

Fresh documents also reveal that Mendez-Laing had already served a ban for cocaine in his system while at Cardiff before the incident which saw him sacked."

I'd rather find someone else.

First Festy, then Ebiowei, now Mendez-Laing. I'm beginning to see a pattern...

You aren't a fan of wingers and want to play just CMs instead? ?

I like wingers who make chances and score. Festy is a FB who has a lot to offer but needs end product. I would rather Knight out wide

He’s a winger.

You’d want him to stick to the white line.

Well, if Liam thinks he can trust him then let’s go for it. Liams got a good head on his shoulders.
