Who ever buys the club, i guess spent at least 50 million doing so. So I don't think that new owner, says I want a manager with a rubbish track record to lift this club out of league one. DCFC1388
Mowbray is a decent shout imo if we go down the experienced route. Recently won promotion from League 1, got stability back at Blackburn, turned Armstrong & Brereton into goalscorers, signed players like Dack, decent style of football & uses youth players too Jimbo Ram, matty1986, LeedsCityRam and 1 other 1
JPRamFan
If the new owner goes for someone like Evatt then the club will owe compo. Will we even be able to appoint a manager that's at a club already even if the compo wouldn't be that substantial? secretsquirrel

I'd like to see Curtis get his first coaching role, maybe as a player-coach assisting a more experienced manager. Sean Dyche with Curtis as his sidekick, I think Liam may leave

Seth's left foot
Let’s see who throws their hat into the ring for the job, it’s obviously a massive rebuilding job and I’d like to see who shows that desire to take on the challenge. An out of work manager helps our finances but I’m not sure if Dyche is the right choice… plus his voice would drive me mad ? It’s a shame that Warnock isn’t younger, I’ve always wondered what he would’ve achieved with us.

Once the tskeover is complete, we may choose to stick or twist. Any costs for sacking/hiring would come out of the set budget for the season. Getting someone like Evatt may require compensation, but he'll be on lower wages than the likes of Mowbray. Finances will have an impact, but that doesn't necessarily mean we can't pay compensation. EtoileSportiveDeDerby
This appointment needs to be right. Whoever that might be, this is a rebuild on an epic scale, the new manager will need very good knowledge of the league and good contacts to beg and borrow and WR would have had many to call upon. A season to build the team and stabilise will do for me.

No thank you very much! Not just Forest.... Brighton are much more attractive to watch since he left them. Hughton seems a nice guy but he is a very defensive minded coach/manager. I didn't want him for that reason when we were last looking for a manager. Forest illustrated it perfectly when the shackles were taken off the players.
