Wilks would make sense. Did very well for Hull in L1 but struggle for form in the Championship last season. Another who can play across the front three positions, mostly RW. Competition for NML, leaving Barkhuizen and Dobbin to battle it out on the left. Left footed too, so offers something different to our other wide players.

Harrison is a RB, so we probably don't think Oduroh is ready yet.

A right back surely is a must? allow Knight to play further up the field.

Christie would be perfect for this team - if he would come then we could do a lot worse.  Looks like he has just left Birmingham City after a trial there, so surely it won't be long until he either has to look to L1 or overseas...

It is criminal that we have one of the best talents in this league in Knight and are playing him way out of position.

We need a RB who's comfortable splitting his time during games filling in as a ball-playing CM & getting back in position at RB to defend.

It's a role requiring good positional sense, a decent level of footballing intelligence and a willingness to work hard for the team.

Cyrus Christie, perfect, really? I mean, really really? Really?

Really?

Not sure we're going to find that player this window with our restrictions. So LR may have to compromise on that masterplan and settle for a right back thats prepared to fly past the wide man and over hit a cross out for a goal kick 8 times out of 10.

...and then stand there contemplating just how nobody got on the end of his (in his mind) brilliant cross, meanwhile their keeper's taken the goal kick, launching the ball to the winger he was supposed to be tracking instead of standing there daydreaming about being the best RB in the Championship.

Eli Dasa

The 29 year old Israel national team captain, may be another unfamiliar name.

Dasa has shown creativity for Maccabi Tel Aviv and Vitesse Arnhem.

He had 20 assists in 90 appearances for the Dutch and can play right-back or full-back.

He hasn't played in England, but he's been good for much of his career, so perhaps we should consider this free agent.

What strikers are out there? I reckon we could do with one more to give us a choice. I'm not seeing many realistic options left on the free agents list... so a youngster on loan might be our best bet?

Dan Jebbison from Sheff Utd? Brad Young from Villa? George Hirst from Leicester? Jude Soonsup-Bell from Chelsea?... All young players with good reputations that could benefit from regular first-team football.
