I love Muppets Christmas Carol. It’s a tradition in our house to watch it on Christmas Eve before the kids bedtime. But I can definitely use the facilities and make a cuppa during the ghost of Christmas past scenes (bar maybe Fozziwigs party) there’s a good 15 mins there

Zulu. Watched it loads of time, often fast forward from the end of the 'dancing' to the start of the battle. 

All you miss is a small bridge not being finished and a middle class bloke arguing with an upper class bloke about soup.

I'm quite adept at missing parts of films.  I've actually lost count of the number of times it's happened in the past.

But apparently, snoring in the middle of a packed cinema is deemed to be a tad thoughtless, so I haven't been for about 10 years!   ?

Groundhog Day - Just watch any of the time "loops" from start to finish. Each is like a mini-film with slightly different plot and ending.

Eminem's Eight Mile

Got it out on DVD from Blockbuster back in the day - inserted disc went to make some food.

Switched TV on once food was ready and settled in - oblivious to the fact that the DVD had autoplayed and I'd missed the first half hour

Thought it was the start and got confused when it finished after an hour. 

Once I realised what'd happened I watched the start. Completely unnecessary
