We still can't pay transfer, loan and agents fees, we're still can't pay the wages that some players demand and other clubs offer. We still can't offer long contracts to secure the services of current and new players. We can close this when we're free of all these restrictions. angieram, Kathcairns, jimtastic56 and 1 other
Elwood P Dowd
The thread is also a good place to discuss how the EFL deal with other clubs who have fallen foul of the EFL rules. Kathcairns, DavesaRam, Sparkle and 3 others 3

Shouldn't that be, fallen foul the rules that the EFL might make up in the future and back date? Regarding the straight line amortisation policy, I see that Harry Kane is entering the final year of his contract and might sold for £100m, does that mean that was worth £400m, 3 years ago? ? You have to admire the EFL’s consistency, if ever a club gets into difficulty they are alway the first to stick the boot in. ? Do they get no points deduction at all or is it held over to next season (when they’ll probably be in the Prem, so the EFL rules won’t apply)?
