John Terry wouldn’t be a bad appointment, been working with Dean Smith for a few of years now- Villa look class, Dean Smith speaks very highly of him, certainly has better credentials than Lampard did, my only complaint would be I think he’s a bit of a nob.

He’s a big Marriott fan too

Clement worked with bigger managers than smith for many more years , didn’t make a manager

Still say Phillip Cocu is our present and immediate future management wise.

Given a loyal fanbase and the right team support.

I can't believe anyone would stick with Cocu is record is diabolical, far better managers have been sacked with more points and better football.

Get rid of him else were doomed.

Whoever comes in will need broad shoulders. The expectation level remains high, probably unrealistically so.

Goals might still be a problem, at least short term.

I’m sure Wenger could turn us around, given a year or two, but not much chance of that ( getting 2 years that is?)
