Seems just a casual statement without any factual basis behind to support it.

Saying there should be optimism without substantiating any reasons why seems very weak.

There was brief comment on RD before the game last night that Ed & Eric had met someone 'in the know' outside the ground who had suggested that the club were VERY confident that they'd be found not to have broken any rules - they obviously didn't name names, but you'd have to suspect that it was someone connected to the club (my guess is Gibson) as who else in the know would be lurking around Birmingham on a Wednesday evening?

This bit where it says:

"Re: EFL bringing the charge - they don't know what defence the clubs will raise until the charge is bought, and it's for the clubs to establish the defence."

makes it sound like there's a few possible defences and we have to pick the right one to get off!

Once all the allegations that have been made against us by the EFL are proved to be unfounded, I have to believe what Mel says about the sale of the stadium is correct.

Where will the club stand financially in regard to complying with FFP this coming season.  Will Cocu have the money to enable him to get the players in he wants, this transfer window. Or will he end up with whats available in the free agent and loan market.

This has been dragging on and on and has hurt our beloved club.  If the club is found guilty of breaching rules, many are expecting a 12 point deduction, and so i propose that it be only fair that if a not guilty verdict arrives, we instead gain 12 points, thereby securing playoffs.  Yay.

No idea how long this has got left, but Nick De Marco, the QC who is/has been defending us, looks to be in Italy at the minute according to his Twitter page
Make of that whatever you will

Tribunal hearing is adjourned and we are awaiting the panel' decision (pending Steve Gibson's independent approval)

Barnsley and Middlesbrough managed to avoid relegation so there's less pressure being applied to the EFL..... at least for sanctions this season.

This article is heavy reading but worth ploughing through. It does look like the EFL are not going to win regarding the charges related to the stadium sale. It could be that we may get a slap on the wrist ( and fine?) regarding amortisation of player values. I would be amazed if we are deducted any points
