Trust you won’t be watching next year when Bryson comes back from his loan then?

Be to busy moaning  about Warnock and poor Cardiff performances because they didn't sign Bryson..

Hanson looked ok when he came on. Opportunity for him.

It is pretty amazing that more opportunities haven't been given to the younger players.

I have always rated Hanson, but he has never been given a proper run. He has also been treated badly by successive managers. So many fans haven't warmed to him. And its not fair.

As a result, I fully expect him to leave this summer. And who can blame him. He wants to play.

So what a waste. And there is every chance that this will happen repeatedly now, because the great prospects we have are getting their chances elsewhere. They will not be prepared to come back and spend next season kicking their heels at a club who have continually and repeatedly promised one thing regarding their futures but done another.

I'm hoping the club recognise this, and envisage next season with several youngsters playing regularly for the first team. If that doesn't happen you might as well close down the whole academy and spend the money elsewhere. We will be shooting ourself in the foot.

Another who needs to calm down

Clearly inaccurate  and without a shred of logic or common sense

Like it or not, you cannot be described as a Derby 'fan'

Logic or common sense has nothing to do with it - you are both expressing opinion here based on guesswork and not much else. Just because you don't agree with his opinion doesn't mean he isn't as big a fan as you.

Carson 6 - nowt to do.

Wisdom - 7 - did nowt wrong.

Davies - 9 - First rate defending, tackle in the first minute was superb.

Keogh - 8 - a couple of good blocks, didn't bring the ball out as he can.

Forsyth - 7 - got beaten down the outside once or twice but no harm done. Criticism on today's showing is a touch unwarranted.

Huddlestone - 7 - was the best player on the pitch until he was sent off.

Johnson - 6 - did he make a forward pass that made it to a Derby player? Put himself about and marshalled Tomlin well enough. Lucky not to be booked.

Lawrence - 7 - two moments of quality almost led to us scoring, but went missing a bit too much.

Weimann - 5 - Missed the ball when he could have won it for us. Are his legs even attached to his body?

Anya - 6 - ineffective going forwards and didn't offer Forsyth as much defensive protection as you'd expect.

Nugent - 5 - no service, but could have battled a bit more I feel. Could have worked Pantilimon harder with his only chance.

Jerome - 6 - looked faster than in recent performances, got Forest defence facing their own goal more than Nugent which allowed Palmer more freedom.

Palmer - 7 - first time i've seen him properly. Very impressed. Looks confident, skilful and direct. Should start.

Hanson - no rating - no time to make an impact.

looked like GR lost it at the end tho tbh - looked like keogh was holding him back. slightly worries me and he needs a clear head to steer us back into winning again...

No different to what Warnock does after virtually every match.

It was (at least) the fourth time Huddlestone had 'fouled' Tomlin, the 3rd head got him a booking, so no surprise to see a 2nd yellow tbh.

Not a chance that was a yellow card, the ref was useless, enjoyed our manager showing passion at  the end, also giving the Forest fans loads of stick.

In the end we can take a lot of positives from that.

Even when it went down to 10 vs 12 we still didn't give them a sniff, so away against our local rivals they didn't have a shot on target. You can see why Carson isn't top of the WhoScored rankings in the Championship (6.6 today) as he had nothing to do. Keeping a clean sheat after we've been leaking goals is immense. Sky said it was the fewest touches the gumps have had in the opposition box in a home game all season.

Yet we had 15 shots.

Obviously it made a massive difference when Palmer came on. Some might criticize Rowett but as @sagesaid he's nursing a dodgy hamstring, and his effectiveness could be greater at the end of the game against tired opposition rather than at the begginning. And another plus regarding this was that Gary made a double substitution on 65 minutes, instead of waiting into the 80s. Great to see.

Thomas and Bogle got to experience a first-team Derby from the bench and now we'll be giving Hanson a chance.

There's frankly bizarre hate on here for Forsyth and Lawrence. I think some forum members need to get help. Forsyth had a very good game and Lawrence was our most creative forward, though Gary was right to take him off because the ref was looking for a chance to brandish a second yellow in his direction.

We're in a good position and go again. Inside the camp, given the outrageous sending off we should be able to turn this into a positive as we move into the run-in. Of course it would be great to get that elusive win next game.

GR bemoaning the squad size, slightly contradictive to what he said 8 weeks back. Injuries were always going to occur. What did he expect?

Poor planning

He has a big chunk of the squad out on loan! Bryson, Butterfield, Bent, Martin, Shackell, Blackman. Is he not able to recall any of them or has he forgotten about them?
