He’s played 23 games on the left and only 6 on the right. Not watched the highlights reel, as I feel they’re not usually entirely reflective of a player.
In the 3 minute highlight reel I watched, it took him a minute and a half before he passed it to one of his own players or had a shot on target. I'm hoping my Youtube judgement of him isn't representative.

I think people who were disappointed that Hourihane and others weren’t dominating for 90 mins are forgetting that we are still a little undercooked fitness wise having started pre season late. I expect him to get better as the season progresses
Not forgettign the all important time to gel as a team

It turns cream with the heat off the iron when the kit-man covers-up the 32Red logo.
Visons of Bukta being covered up with Rams ProWear in the mid-90s.

It would be nice to hear from David Clowes even if it's just a 5 minute RamsTV interview in the week before the opening day.
Is this something in the pipeline @Owen87ITK ? and if so it would be good to pass on the thanks of thousands of Derby fans!
It’s strange but also highly refreshing that we haven’t heard from D.C. at all.

I'm praying it's just a line spun - how else can we convince someone to take him? I fear we'll be stuck with the 'huge' wages and his appearances will be limited for us. I think at this level when we see the quality of frees that are available, he'd be easy to replace. Just cannot see anyone taking a risk on him tbh.
You’ll probably upset a few people with this but I agree. He’d help us the most by leaving, as sad as that is to say.

I’d be disappointed to lose Fozzy, he’s been an absolute servant to this club - yes he makes mistakes - but they’re never mistakes through a lack of effort.
Strikes me as an absolute gent, a total ‘nice guy’, which in my opinion has let him down in his career - a bit more confidence (even arrogance) on/off the pitch and he’d have spent 10 years in the Prem, still, I’d rather have a Fozzy in the dressing room than a Mason Bennett.

I would love James Collins in league one

If that’s the case, you’d hope Wildsmith expected this otherwise you’d immediately find an unhappy player. You just don’t tend to loan a goalkeeper to sit on the bench, especially when you’re in our state.
It’s kinda a given that any team in any division will have two goalkeepers that are looking to be the no.1, or two keepers that have at least made a league start

We could do with Mrs Ince's list, the players on it are a couple of years older now and probably willing to drop down to League One, what's that french guy up to, is he available on a free?

A father and son partnership of Buxton and Cashin?

I’m 100% certain it’ll be Liam but my very first thought on hearing Rooney’d left was Warnock, perfect job for him to come out of retirement for. Not that I particularly like the guy or his football but he’s practically guaranteed to do a decent job.

Gossip alert
there’s a bit of gossip. Potentially mischief making, but amusing nonetheless.
Mike Ashley has submitted a bid equal to 37p in the pound on the basis that rival bidders have to match or better this, otherwise Quantuma are legally obliged to accept it.
Mike Ashley can offer whatever the hell he likes now but if I was D.C. I’d charge a gazillion quadrupilion pounds rent for MA to use the stadium

I do not want Sam Rush anywhere near our club. He is the start of the reason we are in this situation.
as @Woodypeckerhas eluded to, we've only really seen Mel's side of the Sam Rush story, I'm not sure I completely trust everything Mel says......
Having said that I don't trust men with goatees

They can gel during the season. Might be a slow start but we'll improve. This is League one remember. We're playing the likes of Accrington Stanley. Who are they?
Shouldn't underestimate League One, I reckon we're in for a minimum of two years, possibly a lot longer.

Another "not good enough" player who's signed for a League One team, after Charles Verman and Kyle McAllister, who we'll play against this season.
Ok, I’ll bite.
At the time we let them go did we have the lowest number of contracted players ever and were we preparing for a league one relegation scrap? No, at the time we were a top-end champ team looking to push on.
Yes we’ve gone backwards, but all the ex-rams that keep getting mentioned as “not good enough” good arguably also be described as going backwards and have certainly proven to be not good enough for the championship.
