They don't get rich by being nice guys. They always crush a few along the path and become immune to their adverse impact on those trying to earn a crust.
He's worth a few hundreds mill. Do the maths, if he really cared 1.5 a month doesn't even make a dent. It's like most of us buying a round down the pub.
Precisely. He has chosen to relegate the club rather than face up to his responsibilities as owner.
We mean nothing to him

for the last however long its been body blow after body blow And like many im tired of it
i know rock bottom is liquidation and no club which i hope to god doesnt happen
if the absolute worst is avoided then at least we know where we are and can get on with rebuild no matter how long it takes
Been waiting for rock bottom for months.
Rock bottom is the point where you cannot sink any further and the only way is up. It's the beginning of the rebirth.
If this is it, let's be reborn.

Same thing here when I was a consultant at Imperial Tobacco.
Hanson Trust came in and half an hour later I was in my car driving home.

A football club is for life, not just for Christmas.
And we've just been dropped off at the RSPCA shelter

Feel sorry for Wycombe now as we're good as down after half a dozen games. The poor sods.
Would be happy to do a switch right now to be honest if we avoided the points deduction. They deserve to be here, we don't and won't be much longer.

We can all believe totally that you had no idea what was to come
I'm not entirely sure Rooney or players had any idea
Nobody is pointing a finger in your direction, and if they are, point an upturned finger back in their direction. And I don't mean the thumb, index, ring or pinky

My wife told me she wanted to leave me at the end of July. I've been thru hell since. Today was the first day since that I've had the slightest smidgen of hope. It probably isn't any real hope, but I don't feel quite as much despair as I have done for weeks.
Then I found out about this fking sht.
I'm the halvest of half fans, but can't take it. I can't imagine what it's like for you lot who go week in, week out.
Very sorry to read this. You're with friends on here. Even though I know nothing about you, we share a kinship on one basic ground.
Long live football.

We are going to need him but with a big points deduction he might just think it's a futile exercise. I imagine he is shocked as anyone else and i just wonder if MM had the courtesy to tell him before the news broke
I wonder the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he is just as blindsided as us. A damning indictment of our club that we can even fathom that our manager might not have known

It is an outrage and we are all angry but I fail to see what difference protesting will make. I’ll go to the game thank you very much despite your advice because that’s what I do - go to games to watch Derby County whether they’re good, bad or ugly.
Nothing we will say or do tomorrow will make any difference (especially as it’s now out of Mel’s hands when an administrator is appointed) and I’d rather we showed our support for the team. However, I support everyone’s freedom to protest but I won’t be joining the ranks.
Tamworthram, on reflection I have no desire to spread division on the lines of this disagreement.
There's no need and I apologise.
Up the Rams and all who support them

Get angry in the stadium. But direct it at that scumbag Morris. Rooney and the playing staff need everyone’s support. They will be feeling this just as much as the fans.
Important caveat, thank you.
This has nothing to do with Rooney and the players. Back them as much as we deride the ownership.
Sorry, that was an oversight in my original post. As you can expect I'm posting directly from my heart with little curation from my brain

Love to see that some of you can still come out with the predictable snarky "but what you do expect to happen? We can't possibly have any effect on the club with our actions"
If you believe that, don't go tomorrow. If you don't think you can have any impact, why the hell are you taking up space in the stadium? Go to make an impact. Make your voice heard. Express your displeasure.
For God's sakes, you deserve to scream and make the roof come off Pride Park. You deserve to lose your rag and shout at the top of your lungs. Why the hell else do you go to the stadium if not to release your passion, in both good times and bad?
I won't keep my gob shut. Neither should you. This is an outrage, where is your anger?

I can't even summon the energy to get angry, such is the demolition job that has been inflicted on this club over the last two years.
Cheers Mel and Co.
I've been like this for months, but for some reason I am now incensed beyond what I thought possible.
Absolutely unbelievable what I've read tonight. Angry doesn't do what I feel justice
-
Protest tomorrow then
Don't care that he's kindly requested we don't. This is pathetic work by a directorship of millionaires to refuse to finance the club

If anyone hasn't seen Dylan Williams' post-match interview on Rams TV yet, do check it out. Such a likeable lad and got a good head on his shoulders. Has the right mentality, if he keeps that he will go far in the game
-
Hard to see what more we could do in that game. They're streets ahead of us in ability and we had to be real and do what we needed to do to nick a point
Exceptional desire!
