Ambitious Posted August 13 Share Posted August 13 It’s been a promising first half, disappointing to concede a goal on the counter (again!) obviously. We have worked the ball around well and Chesterfield have struggled to get into our box. We need more quality in the final third, but glad to see us taking over the game. Rample Posted August 13 Share Posted August 13 Dodgy stream with no commentary or replays for me but that looked an early contender for goal of the season by Thompson. They certainly gave him too much space though. Pretty dire first half. We have created a handful of chances but not really looked like we know what to do when we get the ball in the box, either the player tries to do it all themselves or it is a wild cross over the top of everyone. Just think Collins might take up better positions and could have got us something from them. Brown's not had a lot of it but he's trying to stay up top and make a nuisance of himself. Can see him latching on to a backpass if they keep playing risky balls back to their keeper. Same could be said of their forwards. Defence has been terrible again. Cash seems to have his boots on the wrong feet and continues from where he left off V Blackburn. Again I've only seen it once but given the time and space they had for the opener I'm presuming Bradley was out of position.
