I’d honestly love to see what others are seeing when they defend this stuff.

Football is garbage and when the results eventually turn all you’re left with is awful football.

I said it at the beginning of the season and got moaned at - At home we have been ok about twice whilst losing to two league two sides in the cups as well - try selling season tickets to watch that garbage again. We have the players to actually play real football and look decent

We sit 2nd in the league but I genuinely believe any half competent manager would have had us all bar promoted by now with the amount of points everyone else below us keeps dropping. The scenes on here when we limp into the playoffs and get dumped out in the semis will be quite something. How many years left on his contract? Wake me up when its run out or Clowes grows a pair.

He's just refusing to let the 5 at the back go. It doesn't work and it doesn't suit our club. I honestly think he's persisting with it because its the only system he fully understands. Even when we play with a back 4 it feels like there's large tactical elements just missing from our play like Warne just doesn't know how to play it fully.

He doesn’t know how to play any football - let’s hope we get promoted somehow and he can leave

Warne's style of football is simply unsuitable for a club our size. It gives him absolutely no room for error because there is no goodwill in the bank to give the fans something to cling on to when results are poor.

The football is utterly dreadful and has been all seasons. We are where we are because we are financially more powerful than most of the league even with our restrictions and have players that can paper over the cracks in our amateurish setup.

I've been saying all season, we are picking up points in spite of warne, not because of him

There was more of a 'feelgood factor' when we faced extinction.

Being second under Warne, with the dross being served up, is demoralising.

To me, it's not even about results (though they're not what they should be against poorer league one squads), it's about entertaining football.

This is a long way removed from that.

Can’t believe the negativity on this thread again. It’s really crazy if you ask me

Did everyone think we were going to win every game or play fantastic football in every game? I just don’t understand the levels of expectation

just once would be a start

Well one game every now and then would be nice.

Don’t be silly. We’ve played well in lots of games. Lots of teams have had periods of poor form. Everyone raved about Portsmouth- they were naff over Xmas. Everyone raved about Peterborough- they’ve dropped off the face of the earth.

Both Derby and Bolton are currently in a mini slump. Not the end of the world. All will look rosy again on Saturday when we batter Port Vale
