This match could be the third in a month when we are facing a team who have just changed their manager; Fleetwood and Burton being the others. For Fleetwood, it was Adams' first home game, second game overall.

Have they sacked Appleton yet?

Nyambe is obviously first choice RB but I think it would be unfair to leave Wilson out.

He should be in the right of a three man midfield for me.

He can then work with Nyambe to create on the right side.

Adams will probably start on the bench but if he’s any good, should then play with either Bird or Hourihane (not both) filling the third slot.

Suspect the latter two will start tomorrow.

Isn’t nyambe injured?

                   Wildsmith

Nyambe  Nelson.   Cashin.   Elder

    Thompson.    Bird.   Sibley

NML.            Collins.              CBT

Subs. Vickers, Bradley, Wilson, Adam, Hourihane, Barkhuizen, Ward, Fornah

I heard Warne say Elder is ok again so straight back in at left back.

Did we sign Charlie late on in the window, must have missed that 😉

Craig Forsyth, Martyn Waghorn, Jake Rooney and Washington are all absentees, but the latter has taken major steps in his rehab from an ankle injury. The striker was put through his paces at Moor Farm and Warne says he is not far from a return. Asked for an update on injuries, Warne said: "I don't think I have any potential doubts.

...

"I am looking forward to the game. Fozzy, Waggy and Wash are still out, but Wash is back on the grass. Hopefully, he will be back in the squad soon."

This Saturday we'll be blessed by seeing [in Warne's own words] "the strongest bench in League 1 history". Sounds like everyone is fit apart from our trio of CFs (Wash, Wag and JJ)

See,…………….i told you he read this forum! 👍😂

Couple of changes from the Cheltenham match.

Adams and Nyambe in for Wilson & Barkhuizen

So a bench of Wildsmith, Bradley, Ward, Wilson, Fornah, Thompson, Barkhuizen.

……….can someone let me know if they can find a better bench of subs in League 1 come Saturday afternoon! 👍😁

I thought he meant that the bench will be better than the staring x1

Can see the line up being the following tomorrow -

Vickers - Nyambe Nelson Cashin Elder - Thompson Adams Hourihane - NML Collins CBT

Wildsmith Bradley Wilson Bird Smith Sibley Barkhuizen

Meaning Ward & Fornah miss out. Imagine our squad in a few weeks when Forsyth, Washington & Waghorn are back, if we can keep everyone fit from then we have a very strong squad with 5 first teamers not even making the bench.

I think Birdie gets in ahead of Thompson but I agree with the rest

birds done nowt wrong

he is an ambitious young player that will go far. M5 to a smaller club.

I have him on the bench purely because he missed a days training to go for his medical in Bristol & Warne said he needed to see him in training to see where his head was at etc
