I would expect him to be on the bench - depends if he was injured or not...

Nyambe left out of the squad v Mali, marked down as injured on the official team sheet.  He was back in the squad for the 3-0 defeat against Angola on Saturday.

…………………should be in from the start against Charlton.👍🐏

Couple of changes from the Cheltenham match.

Adams and Nyambe in for Wilson & Barkhuizen

So a bench of Wildsmith, Bradley, Ward, Wilson, Fornah, Thompson, Barkhuizen.

……….can someone let me know if they can find a better bench of subs in League 1 come Saturday afternoon! 👍😁

Yes, he started the AFCON (albeit got sent off in the first half then didn't play the next two games!). But, yeah, essentially, he's fit.

yeh I saw that but there isn't any evidence that he has played 90 mins in a real game for a long time is there?

Think a fair few will now be suggesting Hourihane in over Bird, wouldn't be opposed to that:

Wildsmith
Nyambe - Nelson - Cashin - Sibley
Thompson - Hourihane - Fornah
Wilson - Collins - NML

Subs: Vickers, Ward, Bradley, Bird, Robinson, Barks, CBT

Can anyone tell me why we are suddenly in crisis ahead of this game?

Seems to me that

a) we have one extra body available for selection in an area of concern

b) we will be very well placed if we win

I’m just looking forward to a good performance and hopefully a comfortable win. Think Collins and NML will re-find their form.

Nyambe is back from Afcon too.

Perhaps one with a striker on it?

This match could be the third in a month when we are facing a team who have just changed their manager; Fleetwood and Burton being the others. For Fleetwood, it was Adams' first home game, second game overall.

Yeah doubt Bird will start with him travelling to Bristol to sign yesterday probably not in best frame of mind either.

Nyambe is obviously first choice RB but I think it would be unfair to leave Wilson out.

He should be in the right of a three man midfield for me.

He can then work with Nyambe to create on the right side.

Adams will probably start on the bench but if he’s any good, should then play with either Bird or Hourihane (not both) filling the third slot.

Suspect the latter two will start tomorrow.
