If Coventry get him then they may let Godden go and we fancy him. From what I read on here, Billy Sharp will not come to us because of some disgusting chanting by a section of our fans. Ambitious Posted July 9, 2023 Share Posted July 9, 2023 Good player, who has hit his peak in recent seasons. I just can’t imagine we would be in for another 31 year old striker, especially one who is going to cost us decent money. He’s still very much a fixture of their side - started the last 6 games of the season and played a fairly significant part of the play-offs.
