Mostyn6
NATIONAL TREASURE! RIP. Up there with David Attenborough in an elite group, that used to include Bobby Robson and Fred Dibnah, as national treasures. Said to my dad earlier, a legend of the game without being in the game. Gave some great anecdotes about Jim Smith, Brian Clough, and his memories of the Baseball Ground - and his son Fred was on with us too. Brilliant stuff. Really enjoyed that. Never realised Motty's dad was a Derby fan too. So knowledgeable about the Rams, a delightful listen. RIP. Carl Sagan
Very sad news. A great commentator regardless of his Rams connection. Condolences to his family if any are on here reading this. He was much loved across the footballing world. To show his connection with us, here's the great man backing Pride Park to be one of the World Cup stadiums for the 2018 England bid to host the tournament. RIP.
