So happy for Ravel at the moment, he's settled, feeling loved, and just starting to really find his feet

I really worry for him in particular if Derby go down the drain.

It would be a real shame for him to finally find somewhere he feels at home, for it then to be taken away with liquidation.

If we go down, and Rooney leaves, I really hope he clicks with the next manager, decides to stay, and gets a few good season's under his belt.

I would imagine he will step into Lawrence’s shoes in terms of being the primary attacking midfielder.

If Lawrence leaves and we get a couple of other midfielders/wingers in to help with the balance in those areas then it could work for him.

Happy to join in the Rav lovefest. He's been a completely unexpected bright spot this season.

Let's face it - which of us fans were calling out for him to be added to the team as we gasped over the line last season....

Seems to be a genuinely good guy to have around and a decent player to boot. ?

I agree. He came on yesterday and, in a meaningless fixture, really tried to drag the team back into the game, always wanting the ball. I think this is another case of Rooney calling it right - all Ravel needed was to be supported.

He started yesterday and was very ineffective first half.

He came to life when we made the substitutions.

Said to my other half that he's a classy player but very inexperienced for his age.

Seems to respond to others around him, they give him the lift to take a hold of the game.

It's his first full season of football Angie and I believe the first where he's had a waiver that allowed him to play whilst taking medication he clearly needs. Watch him fly now he has that game-time under his belt. He's found a 'home' at Derby and I expect him to not only stay, but to flourish. He's a changed man, to my eye at least.

Where’s this been reported?

Can't recall but I believe he's using something like Ritalin to address his ADHT. I think that and similar medications are on the banned list due to the fact that they are basically uppers so they require waivers. The Athelitc ran an article about him being denied them at United et al:

https://theathletic.com/2046045/2020/09/09/ravel-morrison-manchester-united-west-ham-lazio/

*I can't see the whole article as it's partially paywalled

EDIT: Just had a quick Google and I'm sure you can confirm by doing the same. Plenty out there on him being denied medication he needs throughout his 'career' at Manure and beyond. Appalling really.
