Boycie
Well, with a rumour getting stronger about Mike Ashley I’m asking the question. Would his sportswear company sponsor the ground or would it confuse away supporters into going to the north east instead of the East Midlands? Dus’recon? jimbobram
Oh course it would. And those signs will be all over the ground. But as long as the club owns the stadium and moves forward, I don’t care Ted McMinn Football Genius, r_wilcockson and europia 1
RadioactiveWaste
I'd prefer it's not something tacky like I-Pro or Sports Driect Dot Cotton Stadium but in the end, it's not particularly the most important thing. taffyram
ram59
Pride Park has already been given another name, the Ipro, it wasn't the end of the world then and wouldn't be now. However, it may have been a different story had it been the Baseball Ground with a 100 years of history. r_wilcockson, SaffyRam and taffyram
Gone
If it means DCFC can still exist call it what the duck you want, call it the blow up penis arena if it means we’ll be here next season ? Edited January 7, 2022 by TexasRam
Kernow
He never really renamed SJP did he? Remember him toying with the idea but the Geordies wouldn't have it. Regardless of whether it stays as Pride Park or not, his branding would be plastered everywhere. But the alternative for Pride Park could be flattening and made in to new build homes, so if I have to watch Derby with big blue and red lettering at the top of the stadium that won't really affect me in any way whatsoever, then I'll take it. europia, Kathcairns, r_wilcockson and 1 other 3

I’d prefer to keep Pride Park but I’m not really that bothered along as it’s not something really naff. After all, it’s not as if it’s our ancestral home. It would be different story if we were still at the BBG. Kathcairns and r_wilcockson

ossieram
I'll still call it pride park no matter what name is on the signage, so as long as the wonga rolls in , I'll be happy. Kathcairns, Tamworthram, AbuDerbyDave and 4 others 4 2
