At a guess, Morris can't legally sell the stadium while MSD still have a charge over it, and Morris can't clear the MSD loan until he has the money from the sale of it.  So it's a catch-22 situation unless we get MSD involved to sanction the sale going through before it's cleared.  If there are contracts in place etc, I assume it wouldn't be a major issue.

There's also the slight possibility that the MSD loan isn't being cleared and is being taken on by whoever buys the stadium.

Its the same as a housing chain contracts are set up via the 3 solicitors and the money moves through the solicitors, that way Morris could not run off with the money, if that's what you think the worry is about.  I imagine the purchase of the club and stadium will go through simultaneously too as well.

Providing there is an agreed sale price on the stadium that the vendor and purchaser have agreed to, with structural surveys being sound, no curve balls, it should all go through.

Im not convinced that Mel has agreed a sale price though, which is why CKs grand gestures last night may jbe booking the Lord Mayors Show a littlrle prematurely!

CK needs to start blocking fans who can't at least be civil. Ask tough questions by all means, be challenging, but this kind of stuff is so cringeworthy.

Agreed. Although CK reply doesn’t make sense. The stadium sale doesn’t have to take place for us to have a ground to play at. We don’t own the ground already so we don’t absolutely need to get a new landlord.

We do need to clear the MSD a loan though and that means PPS needs to be sold.  Also it means a clean break from MM.

So who has just googled Kircher Autosport? How many things is this man involved in. Imagine have the Derby Ram on the side of an Andretti car in the Indy 500

makes you wonder whether there might be more football clubs in his portfolio before too long ...

Maybe something more fundamental then that and start communicating via another medium than Twitter?

So as we thought nothing is done until an agreement has been struck on the ground (purchase or lease). In essence a 2 week extension to get the ground sorted, are we really any further forward?

Not really any further unless they know they will get it sorted

A lease is a formality though. Just need to know who we are leasing from. Yes we are sorted provided the stadium stuff and MSD can all be dealt with quickly.

Yes, of course. Contracts have been exchanged, the deal has been done - That would not have happened it anyone involved thought the stadium purchase/lease would not go through.
