Just been pondering exactly what punishments we have had or are currently under, from the EFL.

1. -21 points

2. Transfer embargo for 4 windows to date?

3. Wage cap (£4k) ?

4. No loan fees can be paid

5. No £8m covid payment that all other clubs had

6. Witholding TV money

7. £100k fine

8. No contracts can be renewed.

Is there anything else?

Embargo is 28-30 months out of the past 48

Wage cap for this season has been £4.5k, down from £12k last season.

Also squad size limit, preventing us from playing youth players who were already on the payroll. This also prevented us from giving youths pro deals as they then wouldn't be able to play for the first team.

Oh yes. Much more... Ok not punishments but the continuing uncertainty of the last two years due to

9. Unfounded claims over the stadium sale

10.  Changing their minds over the acceptability of the amortisation method and then taking action against us retrospectively.

11. Making stuff up at the June disciplinary hearing in a desperate  attempt to get us relegated.

12. The fiasco over the alternative fixtutre list, when they were "disappointed" that we weren't relegated .

13. Blocking the preferred bidder announcement due to looking after Gibson and co.

14. Spinning statements and leaks to their favoured chums in the media.

15. Generally being Bamfords and Gibsons.

And the decision to include youth team players used in the FA Cup fixture due to Covid, against our players of professional standing quota when limiting the squad.

Out of interest, do you know how many of the 10-12 months not in embargo from the last 48 were actually in a transfer window?

Haven't we got a 3 point suspended penalty should we pay wages a  millisecond late  at  any point in the next billion years?
I may have the timings slightly wrong but I  think ballpark  I'm right

This week is absolutely massive for the club, 3 interested parties, 2 of which not willing to take on the liabilities with the 2 leeching clubs...

This week really is where the administrators earn their fee.

All this talk about Div 2 earlier on here seems a bit premature

Something I've wondered about, just a hypothetical.

How would the parasite claims be considered by a club not in administration?

Would they be expected to consider them in their accounts before they became an actual cost?

Would that affect the clubs P&S submissions for that year or only if and when they became an actual cost?

I don't know if anyone has any ideas on this, but it does give rise to some interesting scenarios.

We’ve got 3 QCs who have rightly said the claims are rubbish. Against that you just ignore them for accounting purposes
