Fullspizz
Can we take the EFL to a tribunal for not allowing us to extend Jagielka's contract then, but allowing us to sell and loan back a player? Madness and I can see recriminations if Plange scores goals over the remaining games that ensure our survival.

That wasn't the case with Jags. bimmerman and DCFC1388

Where is the consistency EFL !? Most likely because Planges wages are already costed in for the season. We were given special dispensation to sign jags due to injuries. The admins job is to reduce costs and resigning jags would have increased the wage bill. DCFC1388 and Chris_Martin 1
Dean Saunder’s hat trick
£1million is pretty hard to turn down in our current predicament, as much as this is really frustrating. Especially if we keep him on loan. I wonder how much sell on fee (if any) Arsenal have on him. sell 8 Plange’s and that’ll cover Bielik’a outstanding fee ?. Wonder if we could sell a few more players £60million and loan them all back for 5 years???? ? new efl rules on a daily bloomin basis ?♂️

Chris_Martin
"Although the championship club are not allowed to register new players due to their current financial position, Football League rules allow Plange to stay at Derby providing his wage stays the same." Why would this not also apply to Jags ? TuffLuff and Dethorn
duncanjwitham
Just now, Chris_Martin said: "Although the championship club are not allowed to register new players due to their current financial position, Football League rules allow Plange to stay at Derby providing his wage stays the same." Why would this not also apply to Jags ? Presumably because Jagielka was only supposed to be on the wage bill until mid Jan. Resigning him would be an additional cost. Plange going would be a net positive financially. Chris_Martin and RoyMac5 1

Mind you, theres no way on this earth that such a venerable governing body like the English Football League would ever allow such a potentially corrupt set up. In fact, I'm sure that clubs in say, ancient Northumbria or the arse-end of Mercia, would soon be slapping down writs like confetti on all and sundry. FTEFL.
