Nice to hear Wayne recovered from his illness pretty quickly, for he and the family were seen at the Nusr-Et steakhouse Knightbridge London, very reasonable menu, Golden giant Tomahawk steak £1450 with edible flakes of gold.

Trust he brought some of the gold dust to spinkle on the players for tomorrow!!! What a wonderful job he his doing at Derby, reminds me a little of the Brian Clough days when the players would run through a brick wall for Cloughie, have a feeling Wayne's squad would do the same, so very impessed with Wayne looking foreward to the good days again.

But isn't London a long way from Newcastle? He must have got his bearings wrong, or borrowed Andre's satnav.

First time really this season that he does deserve some criticism.

I'm fairly certain we played 442 today with no wingers and our 2 strikers on the bench.

Sibley isn't a winger and it looked like Morrison was there first half. With Jozwiak and Lawrence up front.

Clearly after 15 minutes this wasn't working and at 2-0 down he should have made a change.

Amazed CKR didn't start.

Second half we had absolutely no width and nothing in midfield.

The main tactic today seemed to be hoof it to Forsyth and hope for the best.

We were lucky not to be 5 down at half time.

Second half was marginally better but probably cos Blackburn knew the game was won.

Offered absolutely nothing second half either. No midfield.

Worst I've seen us for a long long time.

Absolutely huge game on Wednesday now.

All of this.

Seen people criticising the forwards for the first half, as if it was their bloody fault we started the game with no centre forwards and 2 wide players (but once again not really deployed as such) and finished it with 2 strikers and no wide players.

Yeah because it's not like our (only) two strikers were coming back from injury (one a serious injury!) is it?

Lol. Who would an Allardyce-type play?

Look at Forest. Total pump til a new manager comes in. All of a sudden the same team are a different team.

This phenomenon happens quite a lot.

There were boos a half time, patience is on the wane. People are starting to remove the rose tinted specs to look at the stats and to be perfectly honest they are pretty bad.

We need a win.

I would imagine Rooney has one of the safest jobs in the Championship right now under the circumstances.

Also heard Rooney's name being sang, far louder than the odd boo's.

Very much doubt patience is waning on a significant scale.

Must be very frustrating when you see things need changing early but you just can't do anything about it..

Lol. Look at Forest's squad and then look at ours - the one's fit currently that is! ?

This is the thing, we're struggling for goals but it's not like we have this natural goal scorer on the bench that Rooney is ignoring.

Or he's responsible for the chances that are being wasted on the pitch.

Kazim missed most of the season so far and still not fit enough to play 90, Baldock in and out with injuries.

Love to see how Allardyce would magically solve this.

Minus the points deduction we would be sat 20th, just 3pts off 13th place when we was completely written off before the season started.

1 defeat after going 5 unbeaten and we're back here again. Beggars belief.

We're in a grind until January, clinging on to the hope Rooney is in a position to sign a striker.
