Chris Coleman?

Currently commentating on Sky.

Did alright with Wales.

Bloody annoying voice though - and they’ll need to send a search party for him after the game if he gets his head any further up Gareth Bale’s bum.....

If we were to sack Rooney, now or after we get relegated, or if we somehow stay up, who would we get as replacement? some people asking for Wilder but that doesn't seem realistic to me. After looking at available managers, are these some more realistic managers we could go for?:

Alex Neil

Derek McInnes

Tony Pulis

Kenny Jackett

Neil Harris

Steve McClaren

Garry Monk

anyone else?

That list is grim.

Mac 3 the most realistic option ,didn't want him back the 2nd time but probably the best quality coach we are ever likely to get in the present circumstance. Can't imagine anyone of calibre coming within 30 miles of the club with our managerial record and if Mac was to take over he is in a better position than anyone to be aware of all the issues both in and off the pitch.

Wilder is the stand out candidate. Alex Neil would be good, as would Mark Robins. Grant McCann has done a good job at Hull.

Abroad options could be Oscar Garcia or David Wagner (I’m assuming we stay in the championship here)

Left field - with the number of players out of contract - would this be the right time for Nigel Pearson?
