Realistic Manager Alternatives

If we were to sack Rooney, now or after we get relegated, or if we somehow stay up, who would we get as replacement? some people asking for Wilder but that doesn't seem realistic to me. After looking at available managers, are these some more realistic managers we could go for?:

Alex Neil

Derek McInnes

Tony Pulis

Kenny Jackett

Neil Harris

Steve McClaren

Garry Monk

anyone else?

Why would you want to go for a manager who can’t hold onto a job, and have a recent history of failure as most of them are.

I think my priority would be to go for someone who has managed before, not another rookie and someone who has achieved something and a Manager who wants to play football the right way. I wouldn’t be too against a Steve Mac/Wassall management team to be honest....tick all of these boxes and would be the cheap option...

Not sure if we could tempt Mark Robins to the club. He's done a fantastic job at Coventry, won 2 promotions there. He has also brought through a few young players, so has experience of that.

Would he be prepared to drop down a division plus need to pay compensation...
