It's been a busy week for fan engagement. Last night was the latest SCG meeting and the minutes are up on the RamsTrust website now. You can view them HERE.

There is some overlap with the Fans' Forum, of course, but new stuff in here too, including an answer to the burning question about counting  attendance at Pride Park. (You see, I do listen to you sometimes! 😂

Good to see that David Clowes has budgeted to fund the club for at least five years and is happy to do that. Gives a bit of stability and plenty of time for him to decide what he wants to do in the future.

It all depends where we are but if we are challenging for promotion to the PL (or more likely in it 😁) hopefully Mr Clowes will be able to bring in a partner or sell outright to someone he  trusts.

I believe he will do the right thing for the club.

  2. Whether Joe Wildsmith stays or not he will be remembered fondly. He's done his best for us, made some incredible saves and has been such an important part of our recovery.

If we go up and we offer him a contract it will have to be summatt special to make him go.

If Warne wants him he'll stay. There's no bigger club in the Championship so unless he gets offered silly money he'll want to see how far Derby can go.

  3. We need to win  physical battles over the last few games. Connor is a good footballer and has done enough this season to be thanked for his contribution but i feel we need to fight like feck every minute of every game to get over the line and we probably need younger lads to do it.

Liam Thompson i feel will be more important than Connor. Not because he's a better player but he will close players down and retain possession in their half.

As in, who controls Tufton Street?

O'Brien shows how the UK has been infiltrated and Silent Coup shows how the World is controlled by the same organisations. I haven't quite finished Silent Coup yet but the situation is far worse than you first think.

Its depressing tbh, they have that much power its impossible to see a way to stop it. Democracy is a sham, the big parties here and in the US are completely controlled by the same people.

The next stage is Freeports/SEZ's in the UK. Over 80 of these already planned or started. Vast areas of Britain will be privately owned and run outside of UK Law. Working rights, Human rights, environmental rules - all gone, funded by taxpayers for private gain of huge corporations.

The Premier league and the independant body need to realise that they're setting a massive precedent here.

In the future, other clubs will expect punishment to be aligned to that issued to Forest, clubs may decide that signing that extra top international for £35m will earn them more than 4 points over the season, especially when you add on subsequent seasons value of that player.

Also, Leicester have grounds to argue that had Forest been deducted those 4 points last season, they wouldn't have been relegated. Could they sue Forest and/or the Premier league for their losses?

Clubs sign up to agree to EPL and EFL rules so threatening to sue should cause that club to be in breach of the regs. Its like being a member of the local darts league, you agree to be governed by the body responsible for running it. If you think the Black Swan cheated against the Red Lion you report it and hope the governing body deals with it according to their rules.

Rick Parry bottled it when Steve Gibson threatened to sue the EFL if they didn't punish Derby. He could easily have told him to do one and let the EFL rules decide if we were guilty rather than threats of legal action decide the outcome.

The fact that they changed the rules about amortisation of player value after they decided we did wrong tells us that we was harshly treated.

Our valuation method supposedly gave us a 30m benefit and cost us 9 points. Forest benefit was 34.5m and cost them 4 points.

They won't appeal because they know they've been let off.

    Read 2 books on holiday.

How they Broke Britain by James O'Brien, with chapters on various politicians and advisors who he sees as getting us to where we are now. Thought and anger provoking. If you interested in politics and centre or leftist especially.

The Satsuma Complex, Bob Mortimer's debut novel. Very Bob, very funny with a quirky cast of characters and a tense-ish plot.

If How they Broke Britain made you angry don't read "Silent Coup - How Corporations Overthrew Democracy" by Matt Kennard and Claire Provost, it'll push you over the edge!

Enjoyed The Satsuma Complex, if you like Mortimer then you should like the book.

Any chance we can just ban this tedious p****? ^^^

Bad timing @FlyBritishMidland! The one above you obviously.

Yes, every chance. There's still 3 or 4 members he hasn't annoyed yet but we may have to take the majority view.

A fist fight broke out in the mod room earlier over who gets to do it.

Obviously I won so unless he tells me if he was at the match and describes his goal celebration he'll be gone before brunch time Tuesday.

Forest's claims about being unfairly disadvantaged as a promoted Championship club would certainly hold more weight if they didn't also come out against distributing more pay to EFL clubs less than a week ago:
    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13188487/Premier-League-clubs-shot-EFL-deal.html

    Quote from that article.......

Mail Sport understands those clubs were Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, West Ham, Aston Villa, Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.

If this is true then all those clubs can burn like a greek ref's bakery for eternity as far as i'm concerned.

Villa, Wolves, Gumps, Palace and Bournemouth should know better. They'll all be back there in time, talk about the working class can kiss my ass, absolute effin w anchors, the owners should be ashamed of themselves.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham are amongst the Rothschilds of the Premier League and could easily afford the tiny bit extra the EPL wanted to offer. I expect that sort of behaviour from those but it still rankles that they care so little about the football pyramid. WTF are the owners thinking? They'd still be filthy rich! It would make no difference to them whatsoever.

I would feel the same of Derby if they were in that position and did the same.

The keeper making a big save is not "good performance", it is good individually by the keeper but poor defending overall by the team compared to no threat at all (and conversely for the attacking).

But that's irrelevant, the point was that both systems are equally bad at judging who was better on the day by missing most aspects of a performance (boolean).

Describe your celebration to us when Wilson scored.

Sounds like you only saw the stats, I'll sum it up for you but if you watched the game or the extended ignore it. We had one chance in the entire second half -you read that right- plus two half-chances in the first, nothing else of note; the other way keeper pulled two worldies, they hit the bar and came close at least a couple more times (50'-64'). Now I would agree the above against a tough opponent is "solid" if we were mid-table or lower, for an aspiring top 2/3 side at home I would call it "a stinker".

So be humble, accept we got the rub of the green (as has been the case numerous times this season, I make it win #9 where we haven't been the better side - 18 points right there for those who like their points and ppgs), be grateful for the result and move on, no need to get all snidey. Spare the gloating and glorifying for when we are actually decent and worthy winners, not after smash-and-grabs on our own turf. My tuppence anyway.

    Was you at the game?

    Cheers buddy. 🍻

As neither a Ram or Footy fan, it was "Family applause only"!  (One I assume only footy fans will understand!)

I did sign him off with a warranted "Well batted, that man.  Good innings, sir".

It was time, to be fair.  He was one of the gentler gents, despite being from Ilson!  👀

I did enquire whether anyone needed any bread or milk at around 14:15, but Muckerette just replied "Don't you f**kin' dare"!  🤣

My attention turns specifically and solely to her now, for the foreseeable.  The Rams will need to take second place for a while... just don't tell @B4ev6is!  🐏

Condolences to you and the family Mucker old lad.

The ref had a decent game today in such an important game.

He should have given Ward a yellow card early on for a clear pull and inexplicably pulled us back a couple of times when we had a clear advantage, although not in a dangerous position, but nothing that seemed to have any effect on the result.

I thought he was very lenient to Bolton's all in wrestling at free kicks and corners. Half a dozen times Derby players were held in half nelson holds which would have been punished by referees and linos who had a clue.

  13. Last week Derby played away at Brizzle Rovers so not everyone could go. I know of two young Rams  ST holders who went to Preston North End with their Stoke City supporting mates for a "day out".

I sort of get it that you cant get to see your team but you love the day out on the razz anyway just wondered if this is a common thing to do nowadays?
