Celebrate the return of the Rams after very nearly being killed by Steve Gibson, Rick Parry, Kieran Maguire and that arse from Wycombe,
Go on the pitch/don't go on the pitch, just stay in the ground and enjoy the day then retire to a pub crawl round town.
Merry Widows, Neptune, Metro Bar, Tiger Bar, White Horse, Noahs Ark, Jorrocks, Dolphin, Bess of Hardwick etc.
If someone would be so kind as to shovel me on the last train to Utch it would be greatly appreciated.

Indeed. Mods should lock this thread, discussion and promotion of illegal activity is not appropriate on this forum imo.
Sorry to disappoint fella but half of us will be on the pitch as well.

Hopefully the damage done isn't too significant, Israel will feel it's proved its point that it can strike Iran whenever and wherever it wishes while Iran won't feel it necessary to launch another retaliatory attack. That may de-escalate things between the two countries for now.
Cynical people might surmise that the US doesn't want too much disruption to Iranian oil supplies right now because Russia would fill the gap and benefit financially or prices would soar.
Thats why Israel and Iran are only tickling each other atm.

If it was known in advance, it would be easy for someone to knock out a few convincing forgeries - maybe be that was the reason?
Maybe.
You could bung the turnstile operator ten bob back then and get in anyway.

Hi Duracell, we have a pair of ideal seats for you, we picked the seats because we're close to friends on the opposite side of the aisle.
We're stair 41, row kk, seats 398,399 immediately next to the aisle in the lower east in line with the edge of the centre circle on the south stand side of the half way line. Row kk is about 4 rows down from the entry stairs and the seats are on the right as you walk down to them.
We could meet you at the bottom of stair 41 in the concourse or you can just let me know your seat numbers.
Top man ram59. Derby fans always turn up when needed.

I never did understand why it didn't just go in numerical order! Is there a really simple explanation?
I don't know! Never thought about it back in the day.

I reckon I’ve probably still got the confirmation of my first ST, delivered by carrier pigeon, somewhere. 😀
I used to love the thrill of finding out which number ticket to tear out of the little book when you arrived at the ground.

Bolton play Port Vale this Saturday. Its a must win for Vale or they're down. Hopefully the biggest club in Staffordshire will get the result they need to stay up. The chance of playing their noisy neighbours from across the dystopian wasteland next season will motivate them even more to stay up!
It would be rather nice to wave to the Stokies as we pass them coming down from an Utcheter perspective as well.
Bloody hell, could the stars align that much to see the gumps down, Leicester fck up and Derby slip effortlessly into the Championship?

Well, technically the first "oar" was replacing "Oh". Mine was replacing "or".
However, I'm a self-confessed stickler for rules, and have a personal hatred of repeat puns, so I'll take the yellow card on the chin.
You can be quite stern when you want to! But I don't eight you for it. I just can't believe I Blue it! (etc...)

Take no notice of Boycie mate. he's probably had a schooner of port,

I don’t think an open top bus parade would be appropriate. Getting promoted would be cause for celebration but not this extent in my opinion unless of course, by some miracle, we end up winning the league. Then we’ll have a title to celebrate even if it is only the league one title.
If we get promoted on the last day v Carlisle we wont need an open top bus. The celebration will be all afternoon and evening in the pubs and streets of Derby.
We're going to do it and its going to be a massive party.
The Rams are going up.
I'm looking forward to the hangover!

Now then B4, I know we've begged a few favours already, so I've waited until we really need it to beg another, but if you could give the boss a nudge for us and tell him I'm sorry I've not been to church for 20 years, I'd be obliged. A win today would most certainly restore some faith and I'll book myself in for confession at very least, though I might well need a 2 hour slot!
Forgive me Father, for i have sinned. It is 20 years since my last confession..........you'll need a robust set of Rosary beads to acheive penance for that long mate!
A bit more than 20 for me tbh but you never forget the ritual.

Forget Pompey, they're up.
Have the top 3 leagues ever been so close for the top prize, automatic promotion from L1 and the Championship and winning the Prem?

Bolton 42 81
Posh 41 77
Championship
Leicester 42 88
Ipswich 42 88
Leeds 42 87

At what point does a people begin to take responsibility for the state of it's nation. You can't impose peace, social responsibility, law and order etc from outside, or can you?

If only they had oil. The U.S. would have 'sorted' this years ago.
Only if they agreed to sell it to the US using dollars as the currency.
Otherwise "regime change" would have happened.

They were bound to blame Ukraine (even if there is no evidence). But I can’t see it being a state sponsored Ukraine attack. What would they have the gain? On the other hand, if Putin can convince the public that Ukraine were behind the attack, it may help them strengthen resolve and support for the war. Am I being overly cynical?
I'm the same with most terrorist attacks nowadays. My first thought is always who benefits from this. Gun sales always go through the roof after shootings in the US. People buy to protect themselves or to stock up in case the government restricts sales (they never do but the fear drives huge profits). Either way, every shooting over there is good for business.
Maybe its just getting old makes you cynical as you learn a bit how it all works.

Well, over the years, I have suffered a lot of emotional pain but nothing physical, well apart from being kicked at New Street station, Birmingham away a few years ago, and I've had three car breakdowns going to/from games, but look what this lot go through to show their support:
Being kicked at New street station and Stoke station was a right of passage back in the day.

Fair play fella. I'm assuming your not old enough to have been here in 1975 when Derby were champions of England when we played Carlisle last game of the season having already clinched the League in midweek.
Your part of our history and will be welcome in Derby.

David Clowes rescued our club and appointed a manager who he believed would get us promoted back to the Championship.
It looks like that bit has been done barring a ridiculous turn of events.
What happens next? Lets leave it to David Clowes to continue to make good decisions, He's doing ok so far.
