I also don't understand why away fans are still walking down Shaftesbury Street and getting their heads kicked in? The Baseball Ground hasn't been there since 2003 and we stopped playing there in 1997. What exactly are they doing?

    As you get into Derby

Your hearts will start to fade

you'll get yoiur effin heads kicked in

as you walk on Derwent parade

might need a bit of work.....

I wonder if anyone actually votes based on who they really think is the best player? Even then, how can they form an opinion unless they watch a good number of games involving all of the nominated players?

If I was a betting man I’d wager that the vast majority of people voting have a player from their club nominated and will automatically vote for their man. I’m not saying Collins doesn’t deserve it but I have no idea if he’s been a better player than the other nominations in January.

I agree Tamworth, i've voted for Collo because i'm a Derby fan and he's scored some good goals for us and worked his socks off.

I haven't got a clue about the others!

Should be picked by an independent panel who watch more than one team.

Stop it..me eyes are watering..we'll probably never see this again us oldies..if only we could roll back the clock..that team was

what you called the super rams!

That one picture, Francis Lee, Roy McFarland, Kevin Hector, Colin Todd and Bruce Rioch, right there you have 5 players who were internationals and played at the top level for nearly all their careers.

    Super Rams indeed.

  4. I rarely post on twitter but do find it useful for news and sports like David says.

I've also found it educational as you read something interesting and can follow links etc to stuff you never see in the mainstream.

Tbh, you sometimes wish you hadn't when you discover what a corrupt and controlled world we live in.

Just watching Everton Spurs and the camera cut away to Dyche and one of the BT sports crew sat behind him with headphones on is sporting a Derby hat. Tried to send a pic but file is too big. Good lad

He was spotted at Elland Road and other grounds last season. Legend.

That game in 1975 was the 26th of April, this year it’s one day later.

I was there that day, it would be nice to repeat it this season with my son and grandson by my side.

Yes was at that Carlisle match at the BBG..boring 0-0 draw but who cared when you were champions..great day and memories.

I was just a few weeks shy of 15. Got the train from Utch with about 25 others, flanges and scraves everywhere. It was glorious weather, absolute carnival atmosphere round the town and walking up to the ground. The match itself was dire due to Derby players being hungover (or still drunk) and Carlisle already relegated and not wanting to spoil the party.

On the pitch after for ages, singing and dancing, 2nd title in 3 seasons, best team in the land.......

I'm curious what you think is wrong with Tucker interviewing Putin. And it being broadcast live and unedited on Twitter. What brilliant transparency. Carlson has been by far the most watched political commentator in America, yet lost his voice when dumped by the legacy media.

In this age of new media, he can broadcast via his own channel, but the question is also one of discoverability. Hence those broadcasts also going out on Twitter (hence the watermark to distinguish you're viewing there rather than on his personal channel). The ratings for these pieces are much higher than the political commentary across all legacy news channels in America combined.

If it weren't for Musk, no one would be able to hear Tucker. Are you deciding on behalf of the very many tens of millions who tune in, that they shouldn't be able to? Surely he has a right to be heard?

If Tucker was a threat to the rulers he wouldn't be heard, The fact that he is always broadcast shows he's a member of the club.

I fell for all the left wing loons stuff in the past. Then you find yourself nodding when Cruella and Priti Patel talk. Then you realise Liz Truss is on your side. Next thing you know Jacob Reese Mogg is inviting Farage to your latest Conservative splinter group.

Then you're throwing Human Rights groups, World Health Organisation, LGBT, Peace Protesters all under the same label as "wokey left wing extremists" (right Liz?)

Reminds me of that funny David Mitchell sketch where he's a Nazi soldier starting to wonder if they might possibly be baddies?

I read this comment many years ago but only realised what it meant recently.

"The goal is not to have a successful war but an endless war"

Not sure I should post this...but I will, My Dad in 1963 knocked down and killed a pensioner at the corner of Friar Gate and Uttoxeter Rd where the Garrick pub was while driving his bus, The "Clippie" fainted, It was a very foggy day and the poor sod walked straight into the bus.

How about this, The following year he received an award for his driving as he was absolved from all responsibility for the old mans death.

Accidents happen mate and your dad was exonerated.

Thank you @therams69 for letting me help you surf the flag at Lincoln, it was a real honour, it felt great to be a small part of our wonderful fan base that do and can make a real difference  to the whole experience of getting right behind our brilliant Derby County Football Club. 🐏 🏁

And it’s always great to see you @therams69 keep up your wonderful support and carry on loving Derby County Football Club 🖤 🐏

Get a room you pair of melts!

Seriously, much respect to you both. Sorting out the flag must be quite onerous at times, certainly seems so for beer monsters like me who tend to turn up 5 minutes before kick off! Same for Inverurie and his round the world in 80 days trips just to get to a match.

Its people and characters like you who make me proud to be a fellow Derby fan.

Excellent results tonight, Peterborough seeing Olakigbe sent off before scoring 2 own goals to lose 2-1, and in-form Stevenage contriving to lose at home to Reading. Bolton's game abandoned means their fixtures continue to buildup - there might be a stage when it comes back to bite them. Two-thirds of the season down, we're looking at:

    1. Bolton 28 58pts 2.07ppg [projected 95]
    2. Portsmouth 31 63pts 2.03ppg [projected 93.5]
    3. DERBY 30 59pts 1.97ppg [projected 90.5]
    4. Peterborough 30 56pts 1.87ppg [projected 86]
    5. Barnsley 29 53pts 1.83ppg [projected 84]
    6. Stevenage 29 52pts 1.79ppg [projected 82.5]
    7. Oxford 30 51pts 1.7ppg [projected 78]
    8. Blackpool 30 46pts 1.53ppg [projected 70.5]

I'd say Oxford are now out of the running for the autos - they'd need to win 14 out of their last 16 games.

I think 94 points will likely get second place, which means 11 wins and 2 draws for us. Win 12 of the last 16 and we're surely over the line.

If we get past easter one or two points from automatic we'll do it.

    Last 4 games,

    Wycombe A

    Orient H

    Cambridge A

    Carlisle H

Just nick 2nd spot with a win at Cambridge and have an end of season celebration party at home to Carlisle.

    Bit like 1975.

It seems though that Biden's blatant pro Israel bias might hurt him in the upcoming election.

Not that the other option will be any better for the Palestinians mind....

You'd have to wonder what the situation in Israel/Palestine would be now, if the US had been an honest unbiased influence throughout the decades rather than always staunchly pro Israel, and blocking whatever the UN was trying to accomplish in the region.

The sad truth is, even as many of the younger generation in the US are now questioning the US's automatic reflexive support for Israel against the Palestinians, both of their next Presidential candidates are among the most pro-Israeli presidents there has ever been in the White House.

All the main parties in western countries are pro Israel. Oil, gas and trade through the red sea is the reason and always has been.

The Empire never really stopped when it comes to money and commerce.
