    Imagine a play off between F***** and B*** !

Who the hell would you want to win that nightmare scenario??

    Easy forest.

then the premier league introduce a clause saying that your ground can’t be an absolute dump.

they get denied entry and whoever finishes 3rd bottom stays up.

unless that’s Leeds, I think I’d have a brain aneurism if I had to pick between them two!

Although thinking about it Ellend road is a dump too! So they should be retrospectively relegated.

Pea soup, mate. At the moment, soup is all I can get the Memsahib to eat.

I made this last night (serves 2)...

    • 250g green split peas
    • half an onion
    • 50g old tired ham
    • ham stock cube
    • one stick of celery
    • small knob of butter
    • tablespoon of vegetable oil
    • half a litre of water

    Method

    • Dice onion and celery
    • Fry onion and celery in butter and vegetable oil for 5 minutes
    • Set aside
    • Make up half a litre of stock (just the water and a stock cube)
    • Put in pan with the split peas and ham
    • Add the fried onions and celery
    • Simmer for 45 minutes
    • Blitz with hand-blender
    • Serve with croutons or a bit of old crusty bread.

Incredibly filling and tasty too. It didn't need any seasoning - the ham was quite salty on its own.

Just want to say we cooked this tonight as it sounded nice. Was bloody brilliant! ? thanks.

  3. For the first time in over 2 years I came home today. Due to work/covid/children I haven’t managed to go since 15/02/2020.

over the last 6 months I’ve really questioned why I bother supporting this club I won’t lie.

today is the reason I support this club, a day out with my dad, beers flowing, singing in the south stand, accidentally elbowing a chap in the head when we scored (sorry mate).

months of crap suddenly erased in a day.

COYR and enjoy your night guys and girls… the fat lady hasn’t sang yet, we are still in this! ??

  4. 99% of the time I feel the exact same as you @24Charlie, then we go and play like we did today. I was nothing but proud.

I have no connection to Derby, never lived there, only ever been there for the football. my grandad from Shrewsbury started supporting us in the mid 60’s, my dad was born a ram in 1969, I was born a ram in 1992 and my son was born a ram 2021.

I hate football to the core, the money us mere mortals can’t even comprehend and the billions on offer for Chelsea is quite frankly disgusting! But Derby County is different… it’s a bond between 3 (soon to be 4) generations.

I’m  very much done with football outside Derby County, I hate it and it disgusts me to my bones… but I’ll never be done with Derby County (or any phoenix variety)

This club has given me years of joy with my dad and Grandad and I hope it’s still here when my boy grows up… and his boy…

i couldn’t give a toss about football apart from the rams on a Saturday (and super 6 but money is on the line)

    COYR AND DUCK THE EFL!

  5. Even if it doesn’t end favourably I’ve absolutely loved this season.

fighting against the odds (and the corrupt organisation that ‘runs’ this league’

fighting against That parasite up north and that muppet at Wycombe I can’t be bothered to remember the name of.

all the academy players coming up showing they’re more than capable.

    the togetherness of a fanbase.

no matter what I’m proud to be a Derby County supporter, the sheer fact we are even having this conversation speaks volumes.

the management team and players have been absolutely superb considering the circumstances, if we fall short they’ll still be heroes in my eyes.
