I cant understand the Tomori situation.
Serie A winner and runner up, proper defender, decent on the ball, pace to burn, I’ve always rated the lad.
Southgate prefers Dunk! 🤔

It was stated at the time that he was in tears when he was sold as he did not want to leave the Rams.
Pinched from the DET 7/3/2022.
Omari Kellyman has issued a heartfelt message after joining Aston Villa from Derby County.
“First of all I would like to thank all of the players and staff that have helped me along my journey so far over the past 10 years.
I am grateful for all the memories I have made and the opportunities I've been given and I appreciate absolutely everything this club has done for me and can't thank my team mates and the staff enough for making me into the player and person I am today. So grateful for this amazing club #DTID"
yep,…………..add him to the list! 👍🏁

Saw one of those suggestion articles saying we should go for Darlow on loan, not getting a sniff at Leeds, not sure he ever recovered from THAT 5-0 though 🐏
What time is it?…………………5 past Darlow 👍

Taken from an article in the local Peterbourgh Evening Telegraph.
It’s not cheap following your side away.
By the time petrol, match tickets, food et all are totted up it can cost a pretty penny.
And while some of these away followings may seem small, great credit must go out to all the fans who have dipped into their pockets this season to back their side.
But which clubs had the best away followings in the 2023/24 season. Here the footballgroundguide.com website bring us all the answers.
………………….well done to one and all. 👍🏁

Well, except that we were given more than double the number of tickets Bolton were allocated. Bolton would have sold them all if they’d been given nearly 5,000 like we were. This would have taken the attendance up to c17,000. I guess the Barnsley fans are a little disenchanted and really didn’t fancy their chances last night whereas when they played us they’d only lost once in their previous 16 league games.
I watched the match on Sky…..the upper tiers of Bolton fans wasn’t even full. 👍

Thoughts on the match, pinched from the Carlisle forum.
I was the safe standing bit, I can’t stand the whole game my legs go numb but the railings were really good and can lean on them. Wasn’t in great favour of safe standing but changed my mind.
“Bstand jnr was losing a bit of interest in all honesty over the last few games, which is totally understandable at 14 considering the s**** on show.
He's absolutely loved his trip today, came home bouncing and can't wait for next season to hopefully replace the "scenes" today.”
“the sound was deafening at times”
Probably one of the best atmospheres for a game of football that I've ever been at, the Derby fans when they did that 'jumping up and down' thing were phenomenal.
On a more positive note, I've been chatting to a few Derby fans tonight who were all very complimentary about the Blue Army. They were impressed with the numbers who came down and of the noise we made. I've no problem with Derby County. A proper football city and proper supporters. Good luck to them next year.
………..seemed like a real decent bunch who deserve a lot better, good luck to em.👍🏁

B4 April 2023, If ever we needed a rallying call, different game but the sentiment remains exactly the same!
Well calling all derby fans to get really really really behind the lads we need get behind the lads lets have wall of noise and have sea of black and white let's have scafs flags and balloons let's cheer lads on into the play offs. The louder we are the better lads play. Let burton players shake with fear and let them think what on earth have we got our selfs into here.

For those of a nervous disposition regards Saturday………here’s some chill medicine! 👍😁
Review of the match, pinched from the Carlisle forum.
Derby need a point for promotion and this can do funny things to you mentally. However, some pointers which may settle them down somewhat. There is staggering 69 point gap between the sides. They’re +78 ahead of us on goal difference. Home record for Derby, played 22, won 14, drawn 4, lost 4 – scored 39, conceded 18. Two of those home defeats came in August against Wigan and Oxford. They also lost against Peterborough on New Year’s Day and Charlton at the end of February – but since then have won their last five home games.
Last but not least, we have a Derby legend running our team. He has more appearances for the Rams and scored more goals than for any other club. Is he really going to be trying to win this fixture and potentially deny them promotion? Hmm…
Derby’s a decent away day, so those of you lucky enough to be in attendance - please take a second to take it all in, it may be a very long time before we “enjoy” a Saturday afternoon fixture in the sun at ground and club like this again, so make the most of it.
…………..all seems fair comment to me. 👍 -
Pinched from the Posh forum, from a Bolton fan.
Can you play the same team on Saturday please because if nothing else it will put the frighteners under Derby. Whilst it’s unlikely Carlisle will do them you just never know in football. We’ve all been there, games we needed to get a result in but the longer it goes the more the pressure increases. A 3-0 win for Wanderers against your reserves and Carlisle pop in a 95th minute winner would go down very well in North Lancashire. ?
Meanwhile, in the real world.
………………….here’s Ferguson and Evatt! 👍😂

From the BBCs Simon Stone.
BBC Sport has been told Nottingham Forest made contact with PGMOL on Friday to highlight the potential for Nuno Espirito Santo being asked about Stuart Attwell’s appointment in his weekly press conference that afternoon.
As it turned out, the subject was not raised in the press conference.
It is being stressed that at no point were PGMOL asked to change the appointment or that Forest had an issue with Attwell’s involvement in the game.
From the original Forest tweet.
We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him.
Looks like they never even enquired about Attwell being dropped! …..🤡🤡

Pinched from elsewhere.
This decision is based on the club failing to meet the 10-year security of tenure at their stadium, required for new teams applying to enter the EFL which was required by 1 March 2024.
The club requested a 10-year security of tenure from Gateshead Council. This was refused. The National League wrote to the council in support of the application by the club highlighting the impact on the club, its supporters, and the local community if the security was not given.
Unfortunately, the response received was not supportive of the club’s requirements and placed the club at risk of a refusal of membership to the EFL and therefore forfeiture of any right to participate in the play-offs.
Being a member of Gateshead Council could well be a rather precarious pastime at the moment!

Pinched from a grumpy forum member from you know where.
If Carragher thinks it doesn’t matter what club an official supports I hope Liverpool have a known Man United fan reffing their game every week for a decade.
We shouldn’t have to put out a statement like that but we’ve been screwed over almost weekly for a year now and it’s a disgrace.
More of the ‘small teams’ should tell the FA and PL what they think of the blatant bias being shown to certain teams.
Why is small teams in single quotation marks? 👍😁- Abu Derby, Premier ram, Ram-Alf and 4 others
