  1. B4 April 2023, If ever we needed a rallying call, different game but the sentiment remains exactly the same! Well calling all derby fans to get really really really behind the lads we need get behind the lads lets have wall of noise and have sea of black and white let's have scafs flags and balloons let's cheer lads on into the play offs. The louder we are the better lads play. Let burton players shake with fear and let them think what on earth have we got our selfs into here. …………..no further comment required!
  2. Here’s a bit of rescued memorabilia. Can’t remember if these were placed on every stand in the ground, but they were definitely on the Popside seats. “Popside seats”………………..it just doesn’t sound right! 👍😁
  3. For those of a nervous disposition regards Saturday………here’s some chill medicine! 👍😁 Review of the match, pinched from the Carlisle forum. Derby need a point for promotion and this can do funny things to you mentally. However, some pointers which may settle them down somewhat. There is staggering 69 point gap between the sides. They’re +78 ahead of us on goal difference. Home record for Derby, played 22, won 14, drawn 4, lost 4 – scored 39, conceded 18. Two of those home defeats came in August against Wigan and Oxford. They also lost against Peterborough on New Year’s Day and Charlton at the end of February – but since then have won their last five home games. Last but not least, we have a Derby legend running our team. He has more appearances for the Rams and scored more goals than for any other club. Is he really going to be trying to win this fixture and potentially deny them promotion? Hmm… Derby’s a decent away day, so those of you lucky enough to be in attendance - please take a second to take it all in, it may be a very long time before we “enjoy” a Saturday afternoon fixture in the sun at ground and club like this again, so make the most of it. …………..all seems fair comment to me. 👍
  4. Pinched from the Posh forum, from a Bolton fan. Can you play the same team on Saturday please because if nothing else it will put the frighteners under Derby. Whilst it’s unlikely Carlisle will do them you just never know in football. We’ve all been there, games we needed to get a result in but the longer it goes the more the pressure increases. A 3-0 win for Wanderers against your reserves and Carlisle pop in a 95th minute winner would go down very well in North Lancashire. ? Meanwhile, in the real world. ………………….here’s Ferguson and Evatt! 👍😂
  5. From the BBCs Simon Stone. BBC Sport has been told Nottingham Forest made contact with PGMOL on Friday to highlight the potential for Nuno Espirito Santo being asked about Stuart Attwell’s appointment in his weekly press conference that afternoon. As it turned out, the subject was not raised in the press conference. It is being stressed that at no point were PGMOL asked to change the appointment or that Forest had an issue with Attwell’s involvement in the game. From the original Forest tweet. We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Looks like they never even enquired about Attwell being dropped! …..🤡🤡
  6. Pinched from elsewhere. This decision is based on the club failing to meet the 10-year security of tenure at their stadium, required for new teams applying to enter the EFL which was required by 1 March 2024. The club requested a 10-year security of tenure from Gateshead Council. This was refused. The National League wrote to the council in support of the application by the club highlighting the impact on the club, its supporters, and the local community if the security was not given. Unfortunately, the response received was not supportive of the club’s requirements and placed the club at risk of a refusal of membership to the EFL and therefore forfeiture of any right to participate in the play-offs. Being a member of Gateshead Council could well be a rather precarious pastime at the moment!
  7. Pinched from a grumpy forum member from you know where. If Carragher thinks it doesn’t matter what club an official supports I hope Liverpool have a known Man United fan reffing their game every week for a decade. We shouldn’t have to put out a statement like that but we’ve been screwed over almost weekly for a year now and it’s a disgrace. More of the ‘small teams’ should tell the FA and PL what they think of the blatant bias being shown to certain teams. Why is small teams in single quotation marks? 👍😁
  8. baguettes, cor that’s posh! By the time I get home I’ll be celebrating promotion with a chippy tea!👍😁
  9. Hold tight…………I’ve just found the small print! 👍😁 In order to assist supporters with their plans around fixtures selected for broadcast, the EFL and broadcast partners Sky Sports have agreed to a minimum five-week commitment for the announcement of games for TV coverage. The five week commitment is shortened to four weeks’ public notice from March and the notice period remains at three weeks for the penultimate weekend of the season. TV selections for the final day of the season will be released a week prior.

  16. ………..plus. All opening, final day, and midweek fixtures in the Sky Bet EFL will be shown live, as will all games played on Bank Holidays including Easter, Boxing Day and New Year's Day alongside the matches played in Sky Bet League One and League Two during international breaks.
  17. pinched from the EFL site. CHANGES TO CURRENT WAYS OF WATCHING Will matches still be available to watch via iFollow, or Clubs’ alternative streaming services? From the 2024/25 season onward, this new deal with Sky Sports will effectively replace the EFL’s domestic video streaming option provided via iFollow and club streaming services Audio services will remain alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences. PRODUCTION VALUES So will Sky Sports OTT mean single camera production like iFollow? The EFL and Sky Sports will continue to work together to innovate, seeking opportunities to improve coverage and take viewers closer to the action The EFL will be investing significantly in production infrastructure to enhance the viewing experience. Sky Sports will have a minimum of eight cameras for each game broadcast on existing channels A minimum of four cameras will be used at Championship and League One matches, and a minimum of two cameras in League Two For matches available to stream, Sky Sports commentary will also be provided Wonder what Owen Bradley makes of all this?
  18. Think I might have to nip up into the loft! 👍😁
  19. I know Warne likes a flag.🏁🏁🏁 I know, I know……………….tie a stick to one end and technically it’s a flag! 👍😁

  23. Radio Derby announcement. …………………Graham Richards is back to commentate on the run in! 👍🐏😁
  24. Pinched from the local Peterborough Telegraph The entire lower section of the Posh end is sold out, a very small number of tickets remain in the blocks of Level 2 and the club has sold enough tickets to open the top three blocks of the stadium’s top tier. Wycombe, meanwhile, have sold considerably less and only saw the first block of Level 2 opened for their fans on Tuesday in the west side of the stadium. The top tier will therefore, will be largely empty, but for around 500 Posh fans. The opening of Level 2 means that Wycombe have sold just over 15,000 tickets, bringing the estimated attendance close to 38,000. …………………..no further comment required!
