Superb Nick. Scraves, Flanges & Ballions, let’s make sea of black & white in the spirit of @B4ev6is @B4’s Sister.
I’ve changed Burton to Bolton, but the sentiment remains the same
B4 April 2023……………………If ever we needed a rallying call.
Well calling all derby fans to get really really really behind the lads we need get behind the lads lets have wall of noise and have sea of black and white let's have scafs flags and balloons let's cheer lads on into the play offs. The louder we are the better lads play. Let bolton players shake with fear and let them think what on earth have we got our selfs into here.

Derby were by far the best team we’ve seen at the Mem this season IMO. The scoreline flattered them and whilst they’re a league apart (and certainly will be next season) from us I don’t feel we did that badly today. We were beaten by a team who should have no place in League One next season.
…………………………seems fair comment!. 👍😁

I was in France and on the way back home.
Myself and my other half (a Forest Fan!!) were sitting in a Campanile Restaurant(Bethune), having our Dinner and the TV was on (TF1).
I looked up and saw the famous clip of him coaching the guys (at Raynesway?)
Sinfin Lane training ground.
No running water, old railway carriage to store the nets, corner flags, line paint etc, grass cut by the council, Ford Transit mini bus down from the Baseball Ground and then pile back in for a shower back at the BG.
No jumpers for goalposts tho……..the players uprooted the real thing and hid em behind the carriage! 👍😁

If as most think on here that it is a three up front where does this leave Blackett-Taylor?
Seems our January window “number one target” (according to Pearce) can’t get into this line up.
Some reckon his body language ain’t great…………….no bloody wonder! 🤔
-
Blackett-Taylor must start tomorrow for me.
Pearce said during his interview with Radio Derby that Blackett-Taylor and I quote was “ our number one target” during the January transfer window.
We spend time chasing and signing an out and out winger with a good reputation at this level and throughout the league when starting in a front three. If ever he needed a bit of a confidence booster then starting against, on current form, the worst team in this league is a must.
Mendez-Lang, Gayle, Blackett-Taylor up front, couple of full backs bombing on, advanced midfielders getting into the box, Adam’s in front of Nelson and Cashin and a sprinkling of attacking intent is all I ask for! 👍🐏

I do like to get a feel of how away fans forums see up and coming matches against Derby.
There’s currently nine pages of doom and gloom regards Saturdays fixture on onevalefan.
…………………………..Ouch! 😁
Let’s pull no punches. We are crap.
Our options are severely limited. Our confidence is shot. If we concede, we generally fold like a pack of cards. The fans are separated from the club. We are coming off the back of playing one of the worst clubs in the league, who we happened to let them have 20 shots at our goal. We can’t defend. We have a striker who, quite frankly, needs a change of a career, because a footballer he most certainly isn’t. We’re relying on kids and loanees to get us out of this. Our subs are absolute gamechangers. Sadly they change the game for the opposition. And we are about to go up against a raucous 25,000 crowd, in their back yard, going for promotion.
I mean, honestly, what could go wrong?!!

Derby County Women reached the FA Women’s National League Plate Final last weekend with a 4-2 success at Exeter City and, to celebrate reaching the Final against Cambridge United in April, RamsTV has collated the best of the Ewes’ goals from their run in the competition.

Let’s put this fixture into some kind of perspective before the clubs pre match press conference.
League 1 form guide………last four matches.
League 1 form guide………last six matches.
League 1 form guide……….last eight matches.
League 1 form guide……….last ten matches.
Currently the worst performing club in League 1.
As for predicting the starting 11………………I’ve given up on that one! 👍😁

Question: do BBC Radio Derby have an archive?? In particular, Derby County commentaries, and specifically back to the Graham Richards era (early 80’s onwards, was it??)?? The reason I ask is that there are of course a few YouTube videos preserving the magnificent GR commentaries, but I know that there was so much more. Preserving more of his commentaries would be something I could get passionate about tbh. If anyone has any clue how to do this, I’d be very interested to know more. It would be a tragedy if the voice of one of the best football commentators ever were to be mostly lost. Let’s not wait until he dies to begin this project.
All archived on the Beeb, used to work years ago, not anymore. 👍😁

Pinched from The Oatcake………..(that’s Stoke for you young uns)
So what happened at Stoke where we were saying he'd lost it? It's not as if Derby have been tearing up the goal scoring records and the Derby fans I know bemoan the dour football played by Warne. Yet Gayle seems to have found his confidence there and is a folk hero already. Surprising what confidence can do for a player.
…….seems fair comment to me! 👍😁
